What is the reason for sudden bleeding when I am two months pregnant?

Pregnant women will always experience various conditions. Some are normal physiological needs after pregnancy, while some require extra attention, such as sudden bleeding in the second month of pregnancy. So what is the reason for sudden bleeding in the second month of pregnancy? Let’s take a detailed look below.

What is the reason for sudden bleeding in 2 months of pregnancy?

Pregnancy is a big deal, but some pregnant women experience vaginal bleeding during pregnancy, which often threatens the health and life of mothers and babies, and is a problem that cannot be ignored. Among them, bleeding in early pregnancy is more common, and there are the following situations:

1. Miscarriage in early pregnancy

Endocrine imbalance, corpus luteum insufficiency, low thyroid hormone, uterine autogenesis, maternal illness, trauma, chromosomal abnormalities and other factors can all lead to incomplete development of the test tube embryo, resulting in decidua basalis bleeding, separation of the embryo from the endometrium, and stimulation of the uterus, causing uterine contractions, promoting cervical dilation, and causing blood to be discharged from the cervical opening.

The amount of bleeding gradually increases, the color changes from dark to red, and there is pain in the lower abdomen that becomes more and more severe. When the test tube embryo is discharged, the bleeding increases; after the test tube embryo is discharged, the bleeding decreases or disappears.

What needs to be noted here is that physiological bleeding should not be regarded as miscarriage in early pregnancy. Some pregnant women can still have a small amount of menstruation during their menstrual period, but they do not feel any pain or discomfort during bleeding. This condition is generally considered to be a physiological need within 3 months after the implantation of the fertilized egg and embryo, also known as "miscarriage", which has no effect on pregnant women and fetuses, so no treatment is required.

2. Ectopic pregnancy

An ectopic pregnancy is also called an ectopic pregnancy. The fertilized eggs conceived outside the uterus die early because they cannot get enough nutrients, causing the decidua basalis to lose the support of estrogen and cause exfoliation and bleeding, or the test tube embryo ruptures the fallopian tubes on both sides, causing blood vessels to rupture and cause internal bleeding.

Vaginal bleeding from ectopic pregnancy is accompanied by sudden severe lower abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, sweating, pale complexion, cold hands and feet, and in more severe cases, fainting, low blood pressure, shock, loss of pulse, and even death.

3. Hydatidiform mole

After 2 to 3 months of pregnancy, irregular vaginal bleeding occurs, and some women may have several internal bleedings. At first, the bleeding is small and dark red, and then it stops and comes, and the disease recurs. The discharged blood may be stained with "blood bubbles".

There is generally no abdominal pain in this type of condition. Only before the hydatidiform mole is expelled and when the uterus is contracting severely, there will be severe pain, internal bleeding, shock, etc. Severe hydatidiform mole should alert people to malignant hydatidiform mole.

4. Cervical polyps

Some pregnant women suffer from cervical polyps. Because the uterine blood circulation is abundant during pregnancy and the female hormone surges, it can cause hematoma, edema, and enlargement of cervical polyps. Therefore, cervical polyps bleed continuously after sexual intercourse or spontaneously.
