Where to apply moxibustion for endometriosis

Moxibustion is a very popular treatment method nowadays and is said to be able to cure some gynecological diseases. Endometriosis is a common gynecological disease in women. It can cause irregular menstruation and dysmenorrhea in women. If the disease worsens, it can cause infertility in women. So where should we apply moxibustion to the uterine wall?

Where to get moxibustion for endometriosis

First of all, endometriosis is a very common gynecological disease, which can cause irregular menstruation and dysmenorrhea in women, and in severe cases, it can also cause infertility. With the scientific research of medicine, it is shown that the onset of endometriosis is related to the patient's own immune deficiency.

Secondly, moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine treatment method, which has become very popular in recent years. It can be used to treat many difficult diseases, especially gynecological diseases, and has a good therapeutic effect. Because moxibustion can enhance the body's immune ability, it has a good therapeutic effect on patients with endometriosis.

In addition, some patients with endometriosis will have inflammation in the pelvis. If they are treated with moxa, these inflammations can be eliminated, thus achieving the purpose of disease prevention. For endometriosis, moxibustion should be applied to corresponding acupoints, such as Guanyuan, Zusanli and Dazhui.

What Chinese medicine should I take for endometriosis?

Endometriosis can be treated with medications that can reduce the size of the disorder and cause symptoms to improve or disappear. Drug treatment for endometriosis mainly relies on suppressing the ovaries to induce contraction of the uterine wall. Medication treatments include:

(1) Pseudo-pregnancy therapy: In the 1950s, the main method used to treat endometriosis was pseudo-pregnancy therapy, which transformed the disordered endometrium into decidua, caused interstitial edema, and caused endometrial necrosis and shrinkage. The most commonly used drug was progesterone.

(2) Pseudo-menopause therapy: Pseudo-menopause therapy was first used in the 1980s. It inhibits the secretion of pituitary gonadotropin and thus suppresses the ovaries, causing the uterine wall to shrink and leading to menopause. Common medicines include Danabib, Nemetone, etc.

(3) Drug "uterine and ovarian removal": GnRH-A has been used to treat endometriosis since the 1980s and has achieved remarkable results. The mechanism of action is that after the use of GnRH-A, most of the GnRH protein kinase in the pituitary gland is occupied, resulting in a decrease in the secretion of pituitary gonadotropin and pituitary dermatitis. As a result, the secretion of gonadotropin FSH and LH by the pituitary gland is reduced, and finally the secretion of estrogen in the uterus and ovaries is reduced, which can be reduced to menopausal levels, causing the implanted endometrium to shrink.

(4) Anti-estrogen drugs: Tamoxifen is an anti-estrogen drug, which is an alternative drug for the treatment of endometriosis after progesterone and danazol.

(5) Mifepristone (RU486 Xiyin): Mifepristone has the effects of inhibiting ovulation, inducing progesterone dissolution, and anti-proliferation, and is widely used in clinical medicine. During the treatment period, the patient experienced amenorrhea, abdominal pain was relieved, and the disease became smaller. Menstruation will resume 3 to 6 weeks after stopping the medication.

(6) Chinese medicinal materials: Common cinnamon twig and fuqin capsules, take 3 tablets 3 times a day.
