Pregnant women have hip pain, is it because of pelvic floor

When a mother enters the late stage of pregnancy, her body becomes more dull. Some expectant mothers may experience pain in certain joints of the body, especially in the buttocks, hip joints, and thigh bones. These locations are more obvious, but expectant mothers do not understand why this pain occurs. So, if you have pain in both sides of your hips during pregnancy, does it mean that you have entered the uterus?

It is impossible to determine whether the fetus has entered the pelvis simply by looking at the pain in the woman's thigh bone, but the entry of the fetal head into the pelvis may aggravate the pain in the woman's thigh bone.

It is a normal physiological phenomenon for women to experience hip pain in the middle and late stages of pregnancy. This is mainly caused by the enlarged uterus compressing the lower cavity meridians and sciatica.

When pregnant women enter the late stage of pregnancy, they experience pain in the thigh bone. This is mainly caused by the following two reasons:

Reason 1: As the fetus continues to grow, the load on the expectant mother's body will become greater and greater, especially in the late pregnancy, when the fetal head enters the pelvis and compresses the lumbar spine and nerves, which will cause pain in the expectant mother's buttocks, waist, and thigh bones. Generally, this symptom will be relieved after the expectant mother lies down. This type of pain is more common during pregnancy. Expectant mothers who are entering the late stages of pregnancy should pay more attention to rest and avoid getting tired during this period.

Reason 2: In the later stages of pregnancy, the secretion of female hormones and estrogen in the expectant mother's body will gradually increase, which will cause the cruciate ligament joints in the thigh bone, hip bone, pelvis and other parts to become loose. This is also a preparation for the upcoming birth of the mother's body, so when the femoral joints become loose, there will be some soreness and pain. Most of these pains are normal physiological pains during pregnancy, so expectant mothers do not need to worry too much.
