Health is the key factor for women to have beautiful skin. With the changes of the times, people's lifestyles have also undergone tremendous changes. However, cancer currently poses a huge threat to our health and has dealt a heavy blow to countless families. The incidence of cervical cancer in women is increasing, which poses a great threat to women's physical and mental health. So, how could it be that the patient got cervical cancer even though the TCT was normal? TCT, or chromatographic fluid-based cytology test, is a cytological test in which a specially made sampling brush is inserted deep into the cervical canal and rotated to collect cervical cell samples, which are then observed under a microscope for changes in cell shape. From a methodological point of view, cervical TCT does have the possibility of false negatives. In other words, it is possible that the cervical TCT examination results are normal, but in fact there is a possibility of cervical precancerous lesions. This is because there may be errors in the process of collecting cervical cells, the producers and the doctors' reading of the films. The cervical mucosa is also called the cervical endometrium. Its surface is covered with unilateral columnar squamous epithelial cells that can metabolize mucus. The outer part of the cervix from the external os of the cervix to the top of the vaginal vault is covered with stratified squamous epithelial cells. There is a junction between the columnar epithelial cells of the endocervical mucosa and the squamous epithelium inside the cervical vagina. The cervical mucosa undergoes regular changes under the influence of growth hormones from the uterus and ovaries. The junction of columnar epithelial cells and squamous epithelium at the cervical os is the most common site of cervical cancer. In addition, because cervical adenocarcinoma is often of the mesoscopic type and often extends to the underside of the uterus and the deep muscle layer, it is not easy to take samples. The sensitivity of cervical cytology screening is relatively low, and the detection rate of endocervical curettage is not high, making it more difficult to detect cervical adenocarcinoma in the early stages. Therefore, early cervical adenocarcinoma can basically only be prevented by increasing awareness of high-risk factors, administering HPV vaccines, regularly screening for precancerous lesions, and proactively treating precancerous lesions. HPV testing plays a very important role in the prevention of cervical adenocarcinoma. Women should go for regular check-ups. Regular maintenance can detect symptoms and provide timely treatment, which will greatly increase the chances of recovery. Although cancer is very scary, the current diagnosis and treatment technology has been constantly improving. We should be full of confidence and not give up on treatment. For female patients with cervical cancer, their families should be there to give more encouragement and support to help them defeat cancer. It is recommended to exercise more often to enhance the body's immunity. |
