What do the ovaries secrete?

The human body also has hormones to maintain a balanced state, so that the whole body can be in the best condition, and various hormones are secreted from the uterus and ovaries, but many people do not know what hormones are secreted from the uterus and ovaries, and they are very confused about this. So what hormones are secreted by the uterus and ovaries? The uterus and ovaries mainly produce estrogen, estrogen and a small amount of androgen.

The uterus and ovaries are female sex hormones that can metabolize estrogen, estrogens, and a small amount of androgen. The uterus and ovaries play a very important role in a woman's life.

Female puberty has about 40,000 initial eggs, but even these 40,000 initial eggs cannot all grow to maturity, because the ovaries on both sides only allow one perfect egg to be transported out each month. This month, the left ovary is responsible for production, and the next month, the right ovary is responsible for production. In the girl's teenage years, fully developed eggs are released one by one, one every month, and this can last for 20, 30 or even 40 years.

The teenage years of a girl is a very important life stage for them. At this stage, although those mature eggs have enabled her to have the ability to conceive, her psychology and physiology are not yet fully prepared for this. Girls at this time should receive sex enlightenment education and let this scientific knowledge guide their future life.

Before ovulation, it is metabolized by the endometrial somatic cells and granulosa cells of the egg, and after ovulation, it is metabolized by the luteal germ cells. The adrenal glands can also metabolize a small amount of estrogen. For women of childbearing age, the level of estrogen in their blood changes regularly. Generally, there is very little in the first week of the menstrual cycle, the first peak is reached the day before ovulation, there is a certain decrease after ovulation, and the second peak occurs about 21 days in the menstrual cycle. When the corpus luteum shrinks, its level drops rapidly and reaches the lowest level in the early stage of menstruation.

The physiological effects of estrogen are specifically manifested in the following aspects:

1. It can promote uterine development and cooperate with follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) to promote the production of luteinizing hormone (LH) protein kinase in endometrial cells and granulosa cells of the egg, so as to support LH to regulate the metabolism of the egg. It is also beneficial for the uterus and ovaries to store cholesterol.

2. Estrogen can enhance the blood circulation of the uterus, promote the growth of the uterus and the thickening of the muscular layer, increase the sensitivity of the uterine smooth muscle to oxytocin, and make the uterine wall proliferate; it can relax the cervical opening, increase the secretion of cervical mucus, make it thinner, and easily pulled into flocs, which is convenient for sperm to pass through.

3. It makes the bilateral fallopian tubes grow and develop, improves the peristalsis of the bilateral fallopian tubes and the growth of microvilli, which is beneficial to the transport of oocytes.

4. It promotes the proliferation, keratinization and mucosal thickening of the squamous epithelial cells in the vagina, and can increase the storage of glycogen in the cells. Under the action of lactobacillus, it makes the vagina acidic, which is not conducive to the reproduction of bacteria in the female vagina.
