Female groin itching

Female groin itching

The groin is a relatively special area, but many people often feel itching in the groin. We need to check the location of the disease first and check according to the location. Only after the examination can we know what problems the groin has. The symptoms of groin itching in women also need to be diagnosed. Don’t think that this part of the groin does not need attention.

Internal structure

Groin area

The inguinal region is located at the level of the anterior superior iliac spine and the straight abdominal

Between the outer edge of the muscle and the inguinal ligament. Part of this area is horizontal, and the weight-bearing capacity is increased; the direction of the muscle fibers tends to be consistent, and the barrier wall ability is weakened; and there are organs passing through, causing cracks in the wall to form the inguinal canal; due to many factors, this area is the weakest part of the anterior and lateral abdominal wall, and the latter is most closely related to it.

Inguinal canal

inguinal canal

The local relations are:

The entire anterior wall is composed of the external oblique aponeurosis and the internal oblique muscle, forming the superficial inguinal ring (also known as the subcutaneous ring), which is the exit of the inguinal canal.

The entire posterior wall is composed of the transverse abdominal fascia and the inguinal falx, forming the deep inguinal ring (also known as the abdominal ring), which is the entrance to the inguinal canal.

The entire inferior wall is formed by the inguinal ligament.

The entire upper wall is composed of the internal oblique muscles oblibuus internus abdominis and the transversus abdominis. The two muscles are initially located in front of the outermost part of the canal, then they arch over the top of the inguinal canal to form the upper wall, and finally, they form the conjoined tendon and are located behind the innermost part of the canal, that is, in front of the deep ring and behind the superficial ring. In this way, the two muscles are the most critical in strengthening the anterior and posterior walls and opening and closing the canal. The iliohypogastric nerve that innervates the local muscle fibers is located above the superficial surface of the muscular arch.

The inguinal canal is located above the medial half of the inguinal ligament. It is a muscle fascia fissure that runs obliquely from the outer upper part to the inner lower part. It is 4-5 cm long and contains the spermatozoa or round ligament of the uterus.
