What causes numbness in women's hands?

We all know or have similar feelings, that is, if the hands are kept in a weight-bearing state for a long time, they will become numb. Under normal circumstances, the symptoms will be alleviated and disappear after a short rest. However, if numbness occurs in the hands under non-special circumstances, then you need to be vigilant, because this is usually a signal from health, and women need to pay more attention to it. The following is what we should talk about the diseases that women should be alert to when their hands are numb!

There are various reasons for numbness in the hands. If abnormalities occur, women should be alert to the following symptoms:

1. Cervical spondylosis. Due to a series of clinical manifestations of cervical spondylosis, the spinal nerve roots may be stressed, stretched and irritated, causing numbness and swelling of the fingers. The main manifestations are numbness and swelling on the radial or ulnar side, or all five fingers, and may also be accompanied by decreased forward flexion in sitting position. Cervical spondylotic radiculopathy also causes pain in the cervical spine, neck, shoulders, arms, head, upper limbs, and arms. The pain is usually dull pain, soreness, burning pain, or a dull pain, or a stinging pain like an electric shock.

2. Transient ischemic attack (TIA), also known as transient ischemic attack or mini-stroke, is common in the elderly who suffer from hypertension, hyperlipidemia and other diseases. Transient ischemic attack is a common neurological disease, and accounts for 7% to 45% of cerebral ischemic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. In addition, 4 to 8% of patients will suffer from cerebral infarction in the first month after TIA.

3. Stroke. Stroke patients often experience symptoms such as headache, dizziness, numbness of the limbs, and swelling of the mouth. Numbness and swelling of the fingers is one of its symptoms, but it is usually accompanied by numbness in the arms and other parts of the body.

4. Diabetes. Diabetes can cause a variety of complications. If the abducens nerve is diseased, there will be symptoms such as numbness of the limbs and abnormal sensation.

5. Rheumatoid arthritis, numbness and swelling of fingers is one of its early manifestations. If it is accompanied by joint pain, it is more likely to occur. If the skin on the face and fingers becomes hardened, it may be scleroderma.

Abnormal manifestations of the human body are usually disease signals, which require everyone to pay attention to. Only by maintaining good health can we have the capital to work hard!
