Several popular methods of removing freckles are introduced as follows:

1. Laser freckle removal - use advanced laser equipment to remove freckles;

2. Fruit acid freckle removal - using high-concentration fruit acid to peel the epidermis is safer and more reliable than the previous chemical peeling, achieving the purpose of "skin resurfacing";

3. Grinding and removing spots - using mechanical grinding method to remove surface spots;

4. Acupuncture and moxibustion for removing freckles - belongs to the category of traditional Chinese medicine, regulates meridians and improves the endocrine system of the human body;

5. Drug freckle removal - oral vitamin C combined with intravenous vitamin C;

6. Remove spots with Chinese herbal medicine - follow the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, take Chinese herbal preparations with corresponding functions, and apply Chinese herbal facial masks to heal spots from the inside out.

There are many ways to remove freckles, but the results vary from person to person. Currently, the safest and most effective way to eliminate chloasma of pregnancy is still a combination of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture in traditional Chinese medicine. Although this method is slow to take effect, it is safe and reliable, and it treats both the symptoms and the root cause, and is not prone to rebound.

It takes a certain amount of time to eliminate melasma, and its alleviation and development also depend on many factors. Therefore, in daily life, we should pay attention to the following aspects and combine them with maintenance.

1. Don’t be anxious, irritable or depressed, maintain a calm mind and a good mood.

2. Ensure adequate sleep every day.

3. Choose appropriate skin care products.

(1) Choose anti-freckle cosmetics with natural ingredients and traditional Chinese medicine;

(2) Use foundation cream or pressed powder to cover the spots. The foundation you choose should be slightly darker than your skin tone to reduce the color difference between the spots and the skin and achieve a covering effect.

(3) Avoid sun exposure and choose sunscreen with different SPF (sun protection factor) according to the season.

4. Pay attention to your daily diet.

(1) Eat more foods containing vitamin C, vitamin E and protein, such as tomatoes, lemons, fresh dates, sesame seeds, walnuts, coix seeds, peanuts, lean meat, and braised dishes. Vitamin C can inhibit the conversion of metabolic waste into colored substances, thereby reducing the production of melanin; vitamins can promote blood circulation, and protein can promote the physiological functions of the skin.

(2) Eat less greasy, spicy, and sticky foods, avoid smoking and drinking, and do not drink too strong coffee.

5. Make your own simple and easy-to-use facial mask.

As mentioned above, many foods have auxiliary effects in removing freckles. We can make them into facial masks and apply them at home, which can also achieve certain effects. like:

(1) Mash the winter melon, add an egg yolk and half a spoon of honey, mix well and apply on your face, then wash off after 20 minutes;

(2) Grind the cucumber into a paste, add a teaspoon of milk powder and flour, mix well and apply on the face, then wash it off after 15-20 minutes.

You can also apply cucumber juice, winter melon juice, lemon juice, etc. on your face. It will be effective if you persist in doing so.
