How do you know you are ovulating?

In today's society, very few women have heard of the term ovulation bleeding, let alone understand what kind of disease it is, so it naturally does not attract the attention of female friends. Some female friends will still experience vaginal bleeding a week after their menstrual period. The blood is dark red or bright red, with no special smell, and generally there is no special feeling. They go to the hospital for a physical examination, but no cause can be found. This situation inevitably makes them worry.

Signs of ovulation bleeding

The so-called ovulation bleeding, that is, mid-menstrual bleeding, refers to the bleeding between two normal menstrual periods, which usually occurs about 14 days before the first menstruation.

The most obvious symptom of ovulation bleeding is abnormal uterine bleeding. Generally, there is little bleeding, some are just brown secretions, some are just a little bit, or there is blood in the vagina, some bleeding lasts for several hours, or stops on its own after 2-3 days. No more than 7 days.

In addition to a small amount of vaginal bleeding, ovulation bleeding is also accompanied by lower abdominal pain or back pain, which is more common on one side and sometimes bilateral abdominal pain, which can be mild or frequent. It usually lasts for several hours, and in some patients it can last for 2 to 3 days.

Ovulation bleeding is generally a normal physiological phenomenon. According to surveys, about 30% of women of childbearing age have experienced ovulation bleeding and ovulation abdominal pain. Female friends don’t need to worry too much. As long as you pay attention to hygiene and diet, avoid excessive fatigue, and increase physical exercise, you can prevent and maintain your health.

But some people have serious conditions, and they may have continuous bleeding every time until the next menarche. Or if this happens almost every month, you need to pay enough attention to it. Repeated ovulation bleeding will affect the chance of pregnancy and cause infertility.

Or it may even be that you have some diseases, such as cervical erosion, cervical polyps, cervical cancer, uterine cervical fibroids, etc. Therefore, it is best to conduct examinations in time and targeted treatment is better.

Whether ovulation bleeding contains symptoms can be diagnosed by diagnostic curettage, ovulation temperature measurement (ovulation temperature is biphasic, and bleeding occurs when low and high temperatures change), and laparoscopy.
