How should pregnant mothers deal with the hardening of the abdomen caused by false uterine contractions in the late pregnancy?

1. Pay attention to rest, because the expansion of the abdomen in the late pregnancy means that it is a burden for the mother. If you are overworked, it may cause premature birth.

2. Do not stimulate the uterus. Be careful when walking and do not let people or objects hit your abdomen.

3. If you often have a hard abdomen in the late pregnancy, you can do fetal heart monitoring to observe whether there are irregular uterine contractions. If there are irregular uterine contractions, appropriate treatment should be given.

4. If your stomach becomes hard and is accompanied by abdominal pain and back pain in the late pregnancy, you need to go to the hospital for examination immediately.

5. A hard abdomen is a common problem for most pregnant women in the late stages of pregnancy. Pregnant mothers do not need to worry too much and should pay attention to rest. If uterine contractions are accompanied by abdominal pain or back pain, they should go to the hospital for medical treatment.

Common problems in late pregnancy

1. Sleeping position in the late pregnancy: In the late pregnancy, it is best to choose to sleep on your left side, with the legs close to the bed kept bent. The internal oblique muscles are pressed against the bed, giving you a greater sense of belonging. Pregnant women who often have edema in their legs can put pillows or cushions under their legs to raise their legs if they lie on their side. This will improve the blood circulation in the legs and relieve fatigue. Avoid sleeping lying down or on your back during pregnancy. Sleeping on your stomach with your abdomen pressed is not good for the fetus and the pregnant woman; lying flat on your back in the late pregnancy will cause the enlarged uterus to press on the spine and hinder blood circulation.

2. Abdominal pain: In the late pregnancy, pregnant mothers may experience lower abdominal pain due to false labor during the night. The pain usually lasts only a few seconds and can last for several hours. It is not accompanied by a feeling of falling and the symptoms can be relieved during the day. If a pregnant mother suddenly feels persistent severe pain in the lower abdomen, it may be a sign of premature birth or uterine rupture. You should go to the hospital outpatient department for medical treatment immediately and do not delay.

3. Diarrhea: Once a pregnant mother develops diarrhea, the main treatment measure is appropriate infusion to replenish the water and electrolyte solution lost due to diarrhea, especially calcium ions, and replenish the calories lost due to diarrhea. At the same time, you should closely observe whether the fetus is in good condition and whether there are any signs of premature birth.
