Is the last day of confinement important?

Modern people do not pay much attention to confinement after childbirth. They think it is unnecessary and that there is no physical discomfort. They may be anxious to go out after sitting for less than a month. But if there are elderly people in the family, they will resolutely resist. Pregnant women must be allowed to sit for a full month. So, can they go out on the last day of the confinement period? Is the last day of the confinement period important?

The last day of confinement is basically the same as the first day after confinement. Generally, by the last day of confinement, the uterus has basically recovered, and it is not very important. You can walk around and touch some cold water. The first week of confinement is more important, because the uterus has not started to rest in the first week, and the body is still in a relatively weak state. It is easy to get sick if the confinement is not done well.

The purpose of confinement is to maintain a healthy body, because childbirth, whether it is a natural birth or a caesarean section, is very taxing on the human body, and confinement is necessary to absorb nutrients and allow the body to recover as soon as possible. Generally, the postpartum recovery time is about 42 days. However, because each person's physical condition is different, some pregnant women may recover within a month, but some pregnant women have not recovered even after 42 days. Therefore, whether you can go out on the last day of confinement depends on your physical condition.

The elderly are all good to pregnant women. They don't want pregnant women to go out too early, because they don't want to catch a cold during the confinement period due to wind or other factors, which will affect their health. If time permits, it is recommended to rest for a while, but it does not mean that you have to stay in bed during the confinement period. Generally, you can add some postpartum exercises appropriately after seven days, which is effective for the body's recovery and postpartum weight loss.

During the confinement period, doing some gentle exercises to move the body around will help with recovery. After the confinement period, if you want to go out, you cannot accept the outdoor environment all at once. It is recommended to choose a sunny day to go out. Gradually adapt to the outside environment and avoid going out in winter or windy weather.
