The due date is usually calculated based on the ovulation period of the pregnant woman. Some people will delay giving birth, but some will give birth early. It depends on which factors. In fact, the correlation is still very large. So, does a delayed delivery mean the baby will be a boy or a girl?

The duration of delayed delivery has nothing to do with gender. The time of delivery for each pregnant woman may be different. Generally, there is a difference of about one week from the due date. This is normal and has nothing to do with the gender of the baby. Different characteristics of pregnant women giving birth to boys and girls:

1. If there is no morning sickness in the early stages of pregnancy (that is, the first three months of pregnancy), it is a boy; if there is severe morning sickness in the early stages of pregnancy, it is a girl.

2. If the fetal heartbeat is less than 140 beats per minute, it means you are pregnant with a boy; if the fetal heartbeat is at least 140 beats per minute, it means you are pregnant with a girl.

3. If the color of the nipple becomes darker, it means you are pregnant with a boy; otherwise, it means you are pregnant with a girl.

4. If the belly becomes increasingly prominent and looks like a fully inflated, firm, round basketball, it indicates that you are pregnant with a boy. If the belly becomes increasingly prominent and looks like a watermelon but does not look as round as a ball, it indicates that you are pregnant with a girl.

In fact, there is no sufficient scientific evidence to support the above statement. The initial morning sickness reaction is because the level of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) rises rapidly in the early stages of pregnancy, which in turn inhibits the metabolism of gastric acid and reduces gastrointestinal motility, thereby affecting the appetite and digestion and absorption of pregnant mothers. Whether you are giving birth to a boy or a girl, morning sickness is likely to occur. The real experiences of many pregnant women also show that the intensity of morning sickness has nothing to do with the identification of the sex of the fetus.

Secondly, it is unreliable to use the fetal heart rate to determine the baby's gender. This term is only based on what we call "common sense", that is, for adults, men's heart rate is generally lower than women's heart rate. The heartbeat of a girl is higher than that of a boy, but this is only the case when she is just born. When they are still fetuses, there is no difference in the heartbeat of a boy or a girl.
