Is it a big problem if the fetus's head is two weeks too big?

Pregnant women need to do prenatal checkups again and again during the long pregnancy period. The focus of each checkup is different. Especially in the middle and late stages of pregnancy, the focus of the checkup is to observe the maturity of the embryo and the head and tail size of the fetus. If the fetus's head is found to be larger than that of a normal fetus in the late pregnancy, is it okay?

1. From a medical point of view, it is very normal for the fetus's head circumference to be slightly larger to a certain extent, because the growth and development patterns of each fetus are different. Some babies develop earlier and some babies develop slower, so there will be differences in head position. Generally, there is no problem if the difference in baby's head circumference does not exceed one month, because from the perspective of eugenics, whether the head is big or small is abnormal.

2. If you find that the baby's head circumference is relatively large during the second trimester of pregnancy, you need to pay attention to it, because if the baby's head circumference continues to grow, it is likely to cause dystocia. Pregnant women will have to choose cesarean section as the best way to deliver the baby. Therefore, try to avoid eating high-fat foods in your diet, because high-fat foods will make the baby's head circumference larger.

3. In addition to observing whether the fetal head circumference is normal, when taking an ultrasound, you should also observe whether the tissue inside the fetal head circumference is normal, whether there are shadows or water. Because the most direct reflection of most hydrocephalus or underdeveloped head is that the head and tail are much larger than those of normal fetuses. After examination, if the baby's head circumference and shadow show normal information, then there is no need to worry too much about the problem of the baby's slightly larger head circumference.

Every test data during pregnancy, whether it is blood data or leucorrhea test data. In particular, all kinds of data from B-ultrasound examinations should not be ignored. We should attach great importance to each examination, and it is best to record the data in detail and compare with the reference standards to adopt the doctor's advice. No matter which position the data deviates from the standard value, it should be taken seriously. After all, "eugenics" is everyone's wish.
