Can women have a vasectomy?

Perhaps we have all heard of sterilization in our daily lives. When the family planning policy was popular, many women underwent sterilization every year. The sterilization operation is relatively simple to operate and has fewer side effects. The main contraceptive principle is to close the bilateral fallopian tube passages of women, so that the egg cells cannot combine with the sperm, thus achieving a good contraceptive purpose. If the bilateral fallopian tubes cannot be connected, then can women have sterilization? Female sterilization is permanent.

Can women undergo sterilization? There are two methods for female sterilization:

1. Traditional ligation surgery: We can completely use surgical methods to perform ligation surgery. The surgical incision is only two to three centimeters. Then we use surgical sutures to sever the ligation. The benefits are very effective, and the wound is relatively small. Everyone only needs upper body anesthesia, or even multiple anesthesia is completely possible. There is no need for hospitalization after the operation, and the cost is relatively low. Generally, we need to perform this operation on women after they give birth, because at this time the uterus has not contracted and the location of the fallopian tubes is close to both sides of the belly button. Therefore, we can perform the operation in the depression of the belly button skin of women, so that the wound is not very obvious.

2. Transvaginal ligation: The advantage of this surgery is that there will be no scars on the woman's belly. The surgery is mainly performed under semi-anesthesia, and no hospitalization is required after the surgery. However, due to the high probability of bleeding infection, many people currently do not choose this method.

After the operation, in fact, we need to pay attention to some medical matters, such as ensuring the intake of nutrients. It is best to rest in bed for 1 to 2 days after the operation, which is conducive to the healing of the wound and helps us prevent infection. After the operation, you should not eat some supplements casually, because it will be harmful to your health. It's best for everyone to eat more snacks, and be sure to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.

Now we should understand how women's sterilization is performed. For sterilization, we can consider traditional tubal sterilization or transvaginal sterilization. After the operation, we should also do the corresponding medical care. We must ensure that the surgical site is clean and dry, rest in bed for a few days, and prevent infection.
