Characteristics of abdominal pain in ectopic pregnancy

Ectopic pregnancy is usually caused by fallopian tube obstruction, multiple miscarriages, chronic gynecological diseases, etc. If ectopic pregnancy is not detected and treated in time, it will cause great harm to the woman's body. What are the characteristics of abdominal pain in ectopic pregnancy? Unlike the dull abdominal pain in early pregnancy, the abdominal pain of ectopic pregnancy is significant and obvious, usually accompanied by vaginal bleeding. If you find similar conditions, women should go to the hospital for a physical examination and diagnosis immediately.

Is ectopic pregnancy abdominal pain severe?

Ectopic pregnancy is a relatively dangerous gynecological disease. If not treated in time, it will pose a threat to the patient's life. Therefore, for your safety, pregnant women must have regular prenatal check-ups.

One of the symptoms of ectopic pregnancy is lower abdominal pain. Patients with ectopic pregnancy in the early stages also have dull pain on one side of the lower abdomen, which is caused by the swelling of the bilateral fallopian tubes. The pain in the lower abdomen due to spasm is extremely severe, and the patient will turn pale and sweat. This is caused by the contraction of the bilateral fallopian tubes due to spasm, and it will subside on its own after a while. Patients with ectopic pregnancy also experience severe pain in the lower abdomen, like tearing, accompanied by a feeling of defecation. This is caused by the rupture and bleeding of the fallopian tube pregnancy.

In addition, ectopic pregnancy also has the following symptoms:

1. Amenorrhea: Patients with early ectopic pregnancy will experience missed menstruation periods and early pregnancy reactions such as nausea, vomiting, etc. Pregnancy tests may be positive. This is the most common symptom of early ectopic pregnancy.

2. Pale face: In the early stage of ectopic pregnancy, many capillaries in the abdomen of patients are ruptured, and they are about to go into shock. Their faces will be pale, as pale as paper, accompanied by dry mouth, palpitations, fear of cold, drowsiness and other symptoms.

3. Vaginal bleeding: Patients with early ectopic pregnancy will experience a small amount of vaginal bleeding about 40 days after amenorrhea.

4. Fainting: Patients with early ectopic pregnancy may faint suddenly due to frequent rupture of capillaries in the abdomen, reduced blood supply to the head, and cerebral anemia. After waking up, they may feel dizzy and vertigo.
