Symptoms during the first month of pregnancy

In the early stages of pregnancy, the symptoms are not very obvious. Generally speaking, there are many symptoms in the early stages of pregnancy, the most obvious of which is the cessation of menstruation, followed by changes in appetite, and becoming easily fatigued. These are also one of the obvious symptoms. So, what are the symptoms of one month of pregnancy? What foods should you eat when you are one month pregnant? Let’s take a closer look below.

What are the symptoms of one month of pregnancy?

1. End of menstrual period

It is the most obvious sign of pregnancy. If a woman is of childbearing age and has normal menstruation, and has sexual intercourse for more than half a month after the normal menstrual period, she may be pregnant.

2. Get tired easily

During early pregnancy, many women feel tired, weak, and sleepy. But this stage will not last too long and will pass quickly. So if you start feeling groggy after sex and your period is delayed, these could be signs of pregnancy.

3. Changes in appetite

Some women begin to experience a change in appetite shortly after their period ends (1-2 weeks). Some people really don't want to eat or even want to vomit, some people love to eat things with strange taste.

4. Nausea and vomiting

It is the most common discomfort in the first two months of pregnancy. About 50% of pregnant women have varying degrees of nausea and vomiting, and 1/3 of pregnant women have vomiting experiences, with morning sickness being the most obvious.

5. Breast Transformation

In the early stages of pregnancy, under the combined stimulation of female hormones and estrogen, the breasts slowly grow larger, the color of the nipples and areolas darkens, and dark red lumps appear around the nipples. After 12 weeks of pregnancy, a small amount of cold water-like milk will be secreted.

6. Changes in skin color

Skin pigmentation may occur in the early stages of pregnancy, which is more obvious in the later stages of pregnancy, and stretch marks may appear in the abdominal cavity in the middle and late stages of pregnancy.

7. Frequent urination and incomplete urination

In early pregnancy, it is caused by the enlarged uterus compressing the bladder. When the uterus protrudes from the abdomen at 12 weeks of pregnancy, the symptoms will naturally subside. In the late pregnancy, because the fetal presenting part enters the pelvis, the bladder is squeezed again, and the frequent and urgent urination symptoms recur. Some pregnant women may leak urine when they cough, blow their nose, or sneeze.

8. Discoloration of the vaginal mucosa

In early pregnancy, the vaginal mucosa may appear darker due to hematoma, which can be diagnosed by a doctor.
