1. It is a good habit to have regular bowel movements in the morning. For pregnant women, morning and after each meal are the best times to have bowel movements. It is best to drink a glass of water or warm honey lemon water on an empty stomach after waking up, and then have breakfast. This can promote the normal peristalsis of the gastrointestinal tract. Doing this for a long time can form a good bowel habit.

2. Pregnant women should also maintain a certain intensity of exercise every day. In the late pregnancy, many pregnant women may not want to exercise because their bodies become heavier. This will cause many pregnant women to suffer from constipation in the late pregnancy. Exercise can stimulate the gastrointestinal tract to promote intestinal peristalsis and will not cause constipation. In the late pregnancy, you can do some simple exercises, such as walking.

3. When pregnant women are constipated, they should also pay attention to drinking more water, but they must make sure they drink the right amount of water, otherwise it will have no practical effect. Drinking more water should be done at fixed times every day. You can drink in small sips, but not in a binge manner. If the water can reach the sigmoid colon quickly, it can promote the excretion of feces.
