How many days does it take from pregnancy to delivery?

How much does it cost for a woman to give birth to a child?

Because every pregnant woman cannot accurately determine the time of pregnancy, medicine requires that the expected date of delivery be calculated from the first day of the last menstrual period. The entire pregnancy period is 280 days, or 10 months (each month is 28 days). Pregnant women who give birth between 38 and 42 weeks of pregnancy can be considered full-term. Because each woman's menstrual cycle is different in length, it is normal for the estimated due date to differ from the actual due date by 1 to 2 weeks.

The beginning of pregnancy can be determined in a number of ways. One is to detect the male hormones produced by newly formed embryos. Clinical urine and blood tests can detect pregnancy within 6-8 days after conception. Home urine tests usually take 12-15 days to detect effectively. Both of these methods can only detect pregnancy but cannot tell the time of pregnancy. Pregnancy can also be confirmed by the cessation of menstruation. The cessation of menstruation precedes any symptoms of early pregnancy (such as morning sickness). In fact, doctors usually calculate the pregnancy date (that is, the "age" of the test tube embryo) based on the first day of the previous menstrual period reported by the woman. Unless you have very little sexual intercourse, it is difficult to know the exact time of pregnancy.

Because the time of pregnancy is difficult to determine, the difference between test tube embryos and fetuses is only in scientific research and it is not easy to distinguish them in actual pregnancy. Pregnancy can be further divided into the fertilization of the egg cell by the male sperm in the fallopian tubes and the subsequent implantation.

Women usually give birth to their own products after 280 days of pregnancy. However, the due date is usually different from the actual delivery time, and sometimes there will be a difference of one or two weeks. This is all normal, and pregnant mothers do not need to worry.

What are the main symptoms of women during pregnancy

1. Nausea and vomiting: Nausea and vomiting are the most common reactions during pregnancy, and they are also the initial reactions during pregnancy. However, pregnancy reactions such as nausea and vomiting are somewhat different from one's physical condition, some are stronger and some are weaker.

2. Changes in appetite: Some women begin to experience changes in appetite shortly after their menstrual period (1-2 weeks). I don’t like to finish eating my favorite things at ordinary times. I don’t like to finish the food I’ve eaten once the second time. Some people really don't want to eat or even want to vomit, some people love to eat things with strange taste. Generally after a dozen days to a month, these symptoms will naturally subside.

3. Intermission of menstruation: This is the most common sign of pregnancy that most people notice. If a woman is of childbearing age and has normal menstruation, and her sexual intercourse lasts more than half a month beyond the normal menstrual period, she may be pregnant. But the absence of menstruation does not mean that you are pregnant. There are many reasons for the absence of menstruation, which may be due to poor uterine and ovarian function, abnormal male hormones, busy work, exam anxiety, etc., all of which can cause delayed menstruation. Therefore, it is best to get a doctor's diagnosis, which is the safest.

4. Breast changes: During pregnancy, under the joint stimulation of female hormones and estrogen, the breasts gradually grow larger, the tone of the nipples and nipple areas darkens, and there are dark red lumps around the nipples. After 12 weeks, a small amount of cold water-like milk will be secreted.
