Is the due date of the first child generally accurate?

Is the due date of the first child generally accurate?

Every woman is looking forward to the arrival of her baby when she is pregnant, especially the first child. After giving birth, women usually memorize the due date. So how should they calculate it to be the most accurate? Is it better to advance or delay the normal delivery date?

So what is the appropriate way to calculate the due date?

Generally, the method of calculating the expected date of delivery is based on the last month before pregnancy. Generally, the entire pregnancy period of a girl is about 40 weeks.

Of course, you can also calculate the due date by using the estimated due date of pregnancy, that is, starting from the first day of the menstrual period, subtract 3 or add 9 days, plus 7.

The specific delivery time of a pregnant woman and the estimated delivery date may be about a week apart. If the expected delivery date during pregnancy is around August 11, 2019, then on August 14, 2020, the delivery date will be May 18, 2020.

Many people may have such doubts. When doing B-ultrasound or B-ultrasound examination for the first time, is the delivery date detected accurate?

If a pregnant woman does not remember or cannot remember clearly the due date, or if her menstrual period is often irregular, she can use the ultrasound examination in the early pregnancy to estimate the due date.

Generally speaking, the calculation based on the results of B-ultrasound examination is generally very accurate, and it should be the first one to show the length of the embryo. Therefore, the calculation based on the doctor's order for B-ultrasound is more accurate than the delivery date calculated on normal days.

Then everyone may have such a doubt, it is said that the delivery date can be accurately calculated, so is it better to deliver the baby earlier or later?

In fact, the due date is the date and time of delivery of a pregnant woman. Calculated according to the normal time, the due date should be the result of detailed clinical calculation. This result is relatively accurate. However, in daily life, the due date of many pregnant women is not so accurate. It is either early or late.

This means that due to different physical conditions, pregnant women are affected by various factors during the entire pregnancy period, which may cause the birth time to be inconsistent with the estimated delivery time.

Therefore, the current due date is only an approximate time for pregnant women to give birth, and it is enough to keep in mind. This means that pregnant women are required to prepare for motherhood, so the fetus half a month before or after the due date is within the normal time range.

The due date is just a reference. The arrival of childbirth must be inferred based on the physical condition and body changes of the pregnant woman. For example, during pregnancy, especially in the late pregnancy, a woman may feel that her baby is about to be born.

However, the due date is still a long way off, and the body is accompanied by the rupture of amniotic fluid. If there are any abnormalities in the abdomen before delivery, you should see a doctor immediately, otherwise it may be life-threatening.
