Fungal vaginitis healed in one day

Fungal vaginitis healed in one day

There are many types of vaginitis, candidal vaginitis is a typical one, which is mostly caused by Candida albicans infection. Generally, when candidal vaginitis occurs, timely treatment is required, but some women have experienced candidal vaginitis that heals itself in one day. In fact, this is possible. The situation is very complicated, but not all candidal vaginitis can heal itself. Let’s take a look below.

Because mold grows in women's vaginas, it does not cause any disease because the number of mold is relatively small. However, if the fungus grows in large quantities, it will cause bean curd-like leucorrhea, lead to vulvar itching, and even cause obvious ulcers, so candidal vaginitis is not easy to cure.

For patients with mild candidal vaginitis, if the flora environment in the vagina is well regulated, it may heal itself, but it usually does not heal itself in one day and requires about 3-5 days of adjustment time. For patients with severe candidal vaginitis, there is usually no way to heal themselves, and they need to be treated with local vaginal medication or systemic medication.

Clinical manifestations

The typical symptom of candidal vaginitis is vulvar itching, and the itching symptoms vary from mild to severe, and come and go. When the itching is severe, the patient will be restless and unable to sleep or eat. When the inflammation is severe, urination pain and sexual intercourse pain may also occur. Increased vaginal discharge is another major symptom of this disease. The vaginal discharge is usually thick and appears to be dregs or curd-like.

treat

For simple vulvovaginal candidiasis, local medication is the main choice. Generally, the symptoms will be alleviated or disappear within 2-3 days after medication. Clotrimazole vaginal suppository, use every 3 days, 2 times in total.

Regarding the treatment of complicated vulvovaginal candidiasis, the selected drugs are basically the same as those for simple vulvovaginal candidiasis. Whether local or systemic medications are used, the treatment time should be appropriately extended.

The treatment principles for vulvovaginal candidiasis during pregnancy are: the primary issue that must be considered during treatment is whether the drug is harmful to the fetus; treatment is mainly based on local medication, and no systemic medication is given; it is limited to pregnant women with symptoms and signs.
