As we all know, when a couple divorces, the ones who suffer the most are indeed children under the age of 18. In fact, it is not the divorce itself that causes psychological damage to children, but the fact that the parents, as adults, do not properly handle the psychological state of their children after the divorce. Because there is no popular marriage and emotional counseling in China, many couples divorce with hatred for each other. However, children are the crystallization of the love between husband and wife. Both physiologically and psychologically, children carry half of the couple. Therefore, if the couple fails to resolve the problems in their relationship after divorce, the children's psychology will collapse, which will cause the adverse effects of ransomware.

During more than ten years of consultation, I have come into contact with many children growing up in single-parent families. Their common problems in getting along with others are that they either become more introverted, shy, evasive, and timid, or vice versa, becoming more emotionally unstable and exhibiting significant aggressive behavior.

This is because after the divorce, many parents did not deal with this matter well, and still used denial, avoidance, and attack methods to treat the other party. Such mentality and attitude are actually the psychological problems of the adults themselves. They did not solve these psychological problems that caused the breakdown of their relationship, and then, they made their children the laughing stock of their psychological problems.

Even if the mental problems of the parents do not affect the children, the children who grow up in a family environment without the love of their father or mother will feel insecure. Therefore, in the process of growing up, they will be attracted by the sense of belonging. Anyone or anything in life that can give them a sense of belonging will have a significant impact on them.

For example, for boys, if there is a group of righteous rebels who give them a sense of belonging, then they will go out to mix in society; for girls, boyfriends can give them a sense of belonging, so they will fall in love with students. As a result, children will have many problems in the process of growing up, such as: alcoholism, addiction to games, running away, lack of interest in learning, etc. These are all consulting cases I have encountered.

Even after children grow up, the daily life experiences of family relationships will continue to have a significant impact on their marriages. When they are accustomed to the interactive patterns of family relationships, they are likely to repeat the old patterns in their new relationships without even realizing it.
