Empty sac is because the egg waits too long

After becoming pregnant, women need to go to the hospital for regular check-ups. Some pregnant women will be diagnosed with a gestational sac without a fetal heart or fetal bud, which is called an empty sac. A gestational sac means that the pregnancy needs to be terminated. It must be very confusing to go through so much hardship to get such a result in the end. So, the empty cyst is because the egg has waited too long? Let’s take a closer look below.

An empty cyst is a sign of cessation of embryonic development. There are many reasons that lead to the cessation of fetal development, such as genetic factors, immune factors, infectious factors, endocrine factors, etc. Empty cysts are not caused by the egg waiting too long. There are many reasons for this, including chromosomal abnormalities in both partners or the use of drugs that cause poor embryo development before or after pregnancy. If an empty gestational sac is found in early pregnancy, it is necessary to rule out factors related to the embryo, the mother, and the environment. Once an empty cyst occurs, it is recommended to terminate the pregnancy and then check 11 items of eugenics. If you take oral medications or come into contact with radioactive substances in the early stages of pregnancy, or use medications that may affect fetal development, an empty gestational sac may occur.

Under normal circumstances, the fetal heart bud will occur in 40 to 70 days. If there is no fetal heart bud for more than this period of time, but only the gestational sac is growing, then it is an empty sac. Every hospital and even every doctor has different standards for an empty sac. Some people think that if it is not seen after 60 days, it will be judged as an empty sac and an abortion will be performed. But I need to remind you that some babies have slow fetal development and do not grow heart embryo buds until 70 days. This situation is rare but does exist, so if the doctor says that you are pregnant with an empty sac, it is recommended to wait until 70 days to make sure there is no hope before having an abortion.

Empty cysts have no special reaction. You need to go to B to know. It is reasonable to recommend going to B to check the embryo of the fetal heart after 50 days of pregnancy. If you don't see the embryo in the morning, you'll have to wait a week to check again, as some babies may develop more slowly.

An empty gestational sac indicates that the embryo is incompletely developed, has not developed, or has stopped developing. There are many reasons for an empty gestational sac, including genetic factors, poor sperm quality, external environmental influences, and the egg rejecting sperm. The occurrence of an empty gestational sac should be noted in the hospital for examination, to find out the cause and receive symptomatic treatment. If you can't find a specific cause, you should avoid getting pregnant again, because there's a good chance you'll get pregnant again and the risk of miscarriage is too great.
