Is it serious if I get a little redness before my period?

Menstruation is very important for women. If menstruation is abnormal, physical health is usually abnormal. Under normal circumstances, women usually only have vaginal bleeding during menstruation, but some women have some red spots without menstruation. After this happens, they are often particularly worried about their physical health. If there are red spots every time menstruation comes, is this serious?

Is it serious if I have a little redness before my menstrual period?

I had a little spotting before my period, it's not a big problem if it happens occasionally. Where does this red color come from? If a little red blood appears during intercourse, it indicates that there is cervical erosion, cervical lesions, or cervical polyps, and contact bleeding during intercourse may occur. If this is not the case, spotting may occur before menstruation. This indicates that the corpus luteum is insufficient during the luteal phase, and some people may occasionally have bloody vaginal discharge, which is not a big problem.

After taking medication, most people can return to normal. Medication such as progesterone and dydrogesterone tablets can be used for symptomatic treatment. It's a little red before the menstrual period, but it's not a big problem once in a while. If it happens frequently, corresponding inspections must be done. Some people have a little menstruation 1 or 2 days before their period, and then their actual menstruation comes. This is not a big problem. If it happens frequently, you should go to the hospital for endocrine testing and then receive symptomatic treatment based on the results of the endocrine examination.

Why is there a little bleeding even though it is not the menstrual period?

If your menstruation is very regular, that is, once every 28-30 days. There is a little bleeding before the menstrual period comes. If there is a small amount of bleeding half a month before the menstrual period, it may be ovulation bleeding. If the bleeding is not too much and is only intravenous, it will stop in 3-5 days and does not affect your normal life, then no treatment is needed. However, if menstruation comes about a week in advance and there is a small amount of vaginal bleeding, it may be that the follicles are not developing well and the corpus luteum is atrophying prematurely. That is, it is caused by luteal insufficiency, and this situation requires the use of progesterone treatment. Therefore, if you bleed before your period, you need to go to the hospital for a detailed examination. If the endocrine system is normal, it may also be caused by inflammation.
