If the visual acuity does not reach 1.5 after the operation, is the operation considered a failure?

The visual acuity after surgery depends on your best corrected visual acuity before surgery. The visual acuity after surgery is similar to the best visual acuity you can achieve with glasses. What to do if the corrected vision is not good after surgery

Whether friends with poor corrected vision are suitable for surgery depends on the specific situation. If the corrected vision is poor without organic lesions in the eye, surgery is usually not recommended for corrected vision below 0.3. If there is slight fluctuation in vision or night glare for a period of time after surgery, it is normal and will gradually disappear over time. Because the surgical method and each person's eye condition are different, the time required for vision to stabilize after surgery varies. Generally, vision will stabilize after 3-6 months of recovery.

How to maintain good vision after surgery?

Myopia surgery only removes the current degree of myopia, which is equivalent to giving the myopic person a chance to start over. Therefore, after the surgery, you need to develop healthy eye habits and avoid overusing your eyes:

After the operation, you need to follow the doctor's orders and take the medicine on time. You should have a checkup on time one day, one week, one month, three months, six months, and one year after the operation.
