How to recover from breast shrinkage after childbirth

Many women will encounter many problems after giving birth. For example, some women's body shape changes drastically after giving birth, and some women's breasts shrink after giving birth. These situations are relatively common, so you must pay attention to postpartum recovery. Breast shrinkage is also a physiological phenomenon. As long as you pay attention to the later care, you will be able to return to normal, so don't worry. So how to recover from breast shrinkage after childbirth?

1. The so-called postpartum breast shrinkage refers to the fact that when breastfeeding after childbirth, the continuous secretion of milk will cause the breasts to appear obviously swollen. However, after weaning, due to the lack of milk secretion, the breasts will show obvious skin wrinkling. This is actually a physiological phenomenon. Because the breasts do not have too much fat tissue to support them at this time, they will appear to shrink. There is no way to restore it, whether through breast massage stimulation or other methods, and the only option is to consider breast augmentation surgery.

2. To avoid sagging breasts after childbirth, prevention should be started from the beginning of pregnancy. During pregnancy, underwear should be changed in time as the breasts grow larger. Otherwise, the fibrous connective tissue will not be able to withstand the rapid growth of glandular tissue and cause sagging breasts. To avoid breast shrinkage, weaning also requires some care. It is not recommended to take medicine or injections, as this can easily cause rapid breast contraction, leading to breast atrophy, collapse, loose skin, and loss of elasticity. If you want to stop milk production, you can eat foods that inhibit milk production, such as leeks, malt water, ginseng, etc. The weaning process should be gradual, and the withdrawal effect can be achieved by gradually reducing the number and amount of breastfeeding.

3. You can also do breast massage to restore breast shrinkage, that is, before going to bed every night or before getting up in the morning, put the index finger, middle finger and ring finger of one hand together, place them on the opposite breast, and draw circles from the outer edge of the breast to the inside with the nipple as the center. Do it 10 times on each breast. Another way is to use the shower head to rinse your breasts in a circular motion when taking a shower. The water should not be too hot. This will make your breasts more elastic.
