Under normal circumstances, the secretion is a mixture of vaginal mucosal exudate, cervical canal and uterine wall gland secretions in women. It is related to the function of female hormones, and will change with the different menstrual cycles and be secreted from the vagina. So what is the reason why female secretions are dark brown? Under normal circumstances, the secretion should be transparent and shiny, white and viscous or egg white-like, with a certain consistency, a small amount, and no fishy smell. It has no adverse effects on women's health and is called physiological secretion. Physiological secretions can be divided into non-inflammatory secretions, inflammatory secretions, foreign body irritation secretions, and other vaginal secretions. There are three main reasons for dark brown discharge: ovulation bleeding. Some women will bleed a small amount during ovulation, which is a completely normal physiological phenomenon and there is no need to worry too much. In addition, the brown leucorrhea caused by ovulation bleeding has no odor, which is different from the brown leucorrhea caused by gynecological diseases. You can also see how long it lasts. If it only lasts for a few days and then recovers, it is very likely that the brown leucorrhea is caused by this reason; gynecological inflammation. Gynecological inflammation can also cause women's leucorrhea to be brown, the most common of which is vaginitis. There are many types of vaginitis, and different types of vaginitis have different manifestations in secretions. In the case of brown leucorrhea, blood cells can be taken for immediate treatment; cervical diseases can also cause women to have dark brown discharge. Cervical diseases are various diseases that occur in the entire cervical area, including chronic cervicitis, cervical cysts, cervical cancer, etc. Cervical erosion can also cause brown vaginal discharge. If the leucorrhea has a peculiar smell and is yellowish, pus-like, or even stubborn, it belongs to the physiological range. If the secretion is yellowish brown, sticky, and has a fishy smell, and is accompanied by vulvar itching, burning, pain, and pain during sexual intercourse, it is often caused by candidal vaginitis; if the secretion is grayish white, like leucorrhea or like thin skin water lumps, and sometimes has an odor and is accompanied by vulvar itching and burning pain, it is often caused by candidal vaginitis. Leucorrhea is yellow and light green in color, with an odor, like millet soup or pus. It is mostly caused by purulent bacteria infection, such as chronic cervicitis, senile vaginitis and endometritis; the discharge contains blood, the so-called bloody leucorrhea, which is common in moderate to severe cervical erosion, cervical cysts, cervical fibroids, and cervical cancer; brown leucorrhea, that is, the discharge is like thin water, and sometimes like millet soup, which is mostly caused by cervical cancer, uterine body cancer, cervical adenocarcinoma, etc. Sometimes, cervical fibroids or inflammation may also cause this kind of discharge. In short, there are many reasons for physiological secretions, most of which are inflammation and need to be treated in the hospital in time. |
