Can mild cervicitis heal on its own?

Can mild cervicitis heal on its own?

If women do not pay attention to dietary hygiene and living habits for a long time, it is easy to cause gynecological diseases, and cervicitis is a common one. If it is a mild cervical cancer, it can be cured, but you must pay attention to taking care of your body. After suffering from cervicitis, a small amount of pigmentation will appear during menstruation, and the blood will be brown-red and thick. You can use some anti-inflammatory drugs to treat it, which will speed up the improvement of the condition.

Chronic cervicitis cannot heal itself and requires timely treatment. It is one of the most common gynecological diseases. If it is not treated thoroughly, it may sometimes be bloody or sticky and purulent. Currently, the best way to treat cervicitis is to use traditional Chinese medicine. Cervical secretions or blood streaks, usually milky white or slightly yellow, can occur within a short period of time, and are more common in women who have given birth

Cervicitis is a common disease among women of childbearing age. It can be divided into severe and mild types. Mild cervicitis is a chronic erosive or proliferative inflammation of the cervix, which is mostly transformed from acute cervicitis. It is a common and frequently occurring clinical disease. The incidence rate increases significantly with age and is extremely rare in unmarried women. It is mainly caused by the stimulation of the cervix during menstruation and sexual life, which is equivalent to the category of "leucorrhea" in traditional Chinese medicine.

For mild cases, there is no need to choose drugs with strong physical and hormonal stimulation. You can choose to take the Chinese medicine Gongyan Lishi Decoction orally, which does not cost a lot and will reduce suffering.

Causes

1. Acute cervicitis

Acute cervicitis is caused by cervical injury due to sexual intercourse, abortion, childbirth, diagnostic curettage, etc., and the invasion of pathogens into the damaged area. Common pathogens include the following:

(1) Sexually transmitted disease pathogens Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Chlamydia trachomatis are mainly found in high-risk groups for sexually transmitted diseases.

(2) Endogenous pathogens such as Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Escherichia coli, Trichomonas, Candida, and Ameba.

2. Chronic cervicitis

Chronic cervicitis can be a continuation of acute cervicitis or it can be caused by persistent infection with pathogens similar to those of acute cervicitis. Unclean sexual life, decreased estrogen levels, and long-term stimulation from foreign bodies in the vagina can all cause chronic cervicitis. Secondary infection after damage to the cervix due to abortion, delivery, or vaginal surgery may not cause acute symptoms, but may directly lead to chronic cervicitis.
