Normal adult women will secrete leucorrhea. Leucorrhea is a normal physiological phenomenon. Normal leucorrhea should be colorless, odorless, and generally viscous. Some women experience increased vaginal discharge before menstruation, during ovulation, and after sexual intercourse. For adult women, not having leucorrhea is an abnormal phenomenon. What's wrong with no leucorrhea?

1. Fallopian tube inflammation

Abnormal leucorrhea is the main symptom of salpingitis and fallopian tube obstruction. According to surveys, factors such as fallopian tube inflammation and fallopian tube blockage account for the number one factor of female inflammatory infertility, and fallopian tube blockage or poor circulation accounts for 1/3 of all female infertility. Today, the proportion of infertility caused by fallopian tube obstruction is still on the rise.

2. Endometritis

Abnormal leucorrhea is also an early symptom of endometritis. The endometrium plays a role in menstruation, reproduction, excretion and endocrine function. Once inflammation occurs, all of the above functions will be disturbed, leading to infertility. Severe endometritis, such as intrauterine adhesions, can destroy the integrity and function of the endometrium and lead to female infertility.

3. Drug factors

It is mostly caused by the use of estrogen drugs or physical weakness. Symptoms include normal appearance, heavy vaginal discharge, and lower back pain and fatigue.

Is it normal to have no vaginal discharge?

It is abnormal for women not to have leucorrhea. Under normal circumstances, the amount of vaginal discharge in women is related to physiological phenomena such as menstrual cycle and sexual activity. If the amount of leucorrhea is significantly reduced or absent, symptoms such as vaginal dryness, burning pain, loss of libido, discomfort or difficulty in sexual intercourse may occur. Women may also experience dizziness, tinnitus, irritability, and general weakness. If a woman has a small amount of leucorrhea for a long time, it means that the vagina's self-defense ability is reduced, so the woman is prone to vaginitis.
