How to check if there is any problem with the cervix

In fact, all women are afraid that their cervix will develop lesions. The cervix, as an area with low resistance, is the area inside the uterus that is most prone to lesions. For example, common gynecological diseases such as cervicitis and cervical erosion are closely related to cervical lesions. Without exception, these cervical diseases need to be discovered in time to increase the chance of cure, so how should we check whether there are any problems with the cervix?

1. When examining the uterus, the most commonly used method is B-ultrasound. It is to use ultrasound to examine the female uterus. This type of B-ultrasound has two types: transabdominal and transvaginal. B-ultrasound can clearly detect uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, and endometrial lesions, and the examination results are relatively accurate.

2. The uterus can also be examined through X-rays, which requires the injection of contrast agents into the uterine cavity to reflect the shape of the uterine cavity. X-rays are usually used to diagnose diseases such as uterine adhesions and female infertility.

3. When examining the uterus, a diagnostic curettage may be performed if necessary. This will cause some harm to the person being examined, but the harm is very minor, and only some tissues will be extracted for pathological examination.

4. Hysteroscopy is often used in examination of the uterus. This method is mostly used to diagnose uterine adhesions, uterine malformations and foreign bodies in the uterus, and diagnosis and treatment can be completed at one time.
