Causes of tinea cruris in women

Causes of tinea cruris in women

From a medical perspective, there is no gender difference in tinea cruris. It is mainly caused by bacterial infection, which leads to circular or semi-circular skin damage in the inguinal crotch. There are erythema on the skin, and papules will appear inflamed around it. The patient will feel itchy. Both men and women may experience it. There are two aspects of the reasons why women get tinea cruris, and we can start from these aspects.

1. Periodic sweating, and no timely cleaning of the crotch area. The main reason why women suffer from tinea cruris is that in summer or in a high temperature environment, a large amount of sweat is easily retained in the crotch area. In a humid and warm environment, the sweat is not cleaned in time, and the skin is exposed to the bacterial environment for a long time and is prone to infection. Most women have relatively delicate skin and relatively weak resistance, so they are more likely to suffer from tinea cruris.

2. Not paying attention to cleanliness and hygiene. Some women do not pay attention to hygiene and care in their daily lives. For example, if they suffer from candidal vaginitis, bacteria will grow in their private parts. If they are not sterilized and treated in time, the skin around the buttocks will be seriously damaged. In particular, some women do not clean the buttocks and private parts in time after having sex, which can easily lead to bacterial infection due to skin contact. If underwear is worn close to the body but not washed and dried frequently, bacteria will accumulate on the underwear and it is easy for women to suffer from tinea cruris.

Women suffering from tinea cruris should keep the skin of the crotch area dry and clean it in time. Under the condition of cleanliness and hygiene, use calamine to clean the affected skin area of the inguinal groove, and then apply antibacterial and healing plasters to prevent the continued growth of bacteria and cause serious damage to the skin.

Generally speaking, the reason why women suffer from tinea cruris is because their hygiene is not guaranteed, they do not pay attention to disinfection, or it may be that their immunity is insufficient. To prevent tinea cruris, you need to develop healthy and high-quality living habits, wash your underwear frequently, scald them with hot water and expose them to the sun to sterilize them, and effectively combine diet to enhance your own immunity.
