What to do if ovarian atrophy

The ovaries are a relatively important part of a woman's body. With the increase of age and the increase of life pressure, more and more female friends are experiencing ovarian atrophy. Ovarian atrophy has a great impact on women's health, and they are prone to symptoms such as insomnia, bad mood, memory loss, and decreased libido. It seriously endangers the health of female friends and makes women lose their unique charm. So what should we do if ovarian atrophy occurs?

Causes of ovarian atrophy

1. Idiopathic premature ovarian failure: There will be no clear cause, there will be normal chromosomes, blood sex hormone tests will increase, estrogen will decrease, but prolactin will be normal. Not only will there be a lack of estrogen, but there will also be insufficient secretion of ovarian androgens, and the steroid hormone capacity of the adrenal glands will be slightly defective. During laparoscopy, many small ovaries and atrophic ovaries can be seen.

2. Immune reasons: There is a 20% chance that ovarian antibodies can be detected in the blood, which is usually combined with other autoimmune diseases.

3. Physical reasons: Some surgeries, chemotherapy and infections can cause defects in gonadotropin secretion and defects in gonadotropin receptors and post-receptors.

4. Cytogenetic reasons: There will be fewer congenital germ cells, which will accelerate the closure of follicles, X chromosomes will be abnormal, and 10% of patients will have a family history.

Symptoms of ovarian atrophy

Ovarian atrophy is actually a normal phenomenon in female aging, but due to many reasons nowadays, many young female friends are plagued by ovarian atrophy.

Experts say that ovarian atrophy not only affects women's health, but also seriously challenges their youthful charm. Therefore, many patients with ovarian atrophy experience insomnia, memory loss, joint pain, body hair loss, and decreased libido. Some patients with ovarian atrophy may also experience menstrual disorders.

Women of childbearing age, once plagued by ovarian atrophy, may experience intermittent secretion of female hormones and ovulation, making it impossible to conceive normally, which means infertility may occur.
