Breast cancer ulcer

Breast cancer ulcer

Most breast cancers are malignant tumors derived from benign tumors, so once breast cancer develops into a malignant tumor, the cancer cells will gradually spread to other parts of the breast and even spread throughout the body. After suffering from breast cancer, female patients will also experience many changes in their bodies caused by breast cancer. For example, nipple ulceration is a symptom caused by breast cancer. So what are the treatments for nipple ulceration caused by breast cancer?

1. Breast cancer is a common malignant tumor. Most changes begin with an abnormal lump in the breast area. As the tumor progresses, changes in the appearance of the breast skin may occur. The situation described above may be caused by ulcers and repeated infections caused by tumors invading the skin. It is necessary to change the dressing regularly and keep the local area dry as much as possible. Surgery and chemotherapy should also be considered if the physical condition allows.

2. Cancerous ulcers will appear in the late stage of breast cancer. If you have ulcers, you must pay attention to cleaning the wound to avoid infection. Disinfect with iodine solution, and then bandage the wound with uncontaminated gauze. Remember not to touch it with your hands. If your family members do not understand the disinfection process, it is recommended to go to the local hospital for treatment. Advanced patients can take ginsenoside Rh2 to relieve symptoms and prolong survival.

3. Cancer rupture will consume a large amount of protein, water, etc., especially during damaging treatments such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy, the patient's own immune function will decrease and the body function will decline. Therefore, the treatment of breast cancer rupture should pay attention to timely and effective supplementation of the nutrients needed by the body. If breast cancer ulcers have healed, you still need to pay attention to improving your immunity, otherwise there is a high possibility of ulceration again.

4. When breast cancer ruptures, pay attention to wound infection. When granulation tissue fills the wound bed, the skin around the wound edge migrates and crawls toward the center of the wound, indicating that it has entered the epithelialization stage. At this time, the internal dressing is changed to Mepitel to cover the wound, about 25px beyond the wound edge, and the external dressing is sterile gauze, which is changed every 2 to 3 days until the epithelium is completely covered. The patient's wound healed after 6 weeks. The necrotic tissue and dead flesh in breast cancer wounds provide an ideal environment for bacterial growth. At the same time, a large amount of exudate is also a culture medium for bacteria, which can easily lead to wound infection. For the treatment of infection caused by breast cancer ulceration, attention should be paid to timely improving the patient's immune function, correctly handling the wound, and strictly carrying out disinfection and isolation work.
