Things to note after breast augmentation

Many women choose plastic surgery to have a perfect body. After plastic surgery, if you are not careful in your daily life, it is easy to cause the prosthesis in your body to deform. Breast augmentation is a technology developed for women with flat chests. Women can fill their breasts with silicone to make their breasts fuller and have a perfect shape. So, what should you pay attention to after breast augmentation?

Breast augmentation surgery is a procedure that involves the insertion of breast implants of good quality and appropriate size to increase the volume of the breasts, improve their shape and symmetry, and make the breasts fuller, thereby creating the beauty of the young female body.

Postoperative Care

1. After breast augmentation surgery, there will usually be pain and swelling in the breasts. The degree of pain and swelling varies from person to person, depending on the method and nature of the surgery and the individual's physical condition. The pain usually lasts for about two to three days and can be controlled by taking medication on time as instructed by the doctor. The swelling and bruising will subside in about one to two weeks.

2. After resting for two to three days, daily activities can generally be resumed two to three days after the surgery. You can return to work as usual five to seven days after the operation. Avoid raising your arms and lifting heavy objects during the first week after surgery. Steam baths and swimming should be avoided for two weeks. Vigorous exercise should not be performed until two weeks after surgery.

3. There will be a simple dressing on the wound after the operation, and a bandage in the middle to fix the position of the breast. Go to the doctor for a follow-up check-up after two to three days. If there is a drainage tube, remove it. The stitches were removed after one week. You can then bathe normally.

4. During the first month after surgery, you should wear a fitted soft bra or a positioning bra band according to the doctor's instructions, or not wear a bra to allow the breast tissue to take shape naturally. The breasts will initially feel swollen and stiff, but after one to two months, the texture and shape of the breasts will become more natural.

5. If you are planning to get pregnant, it is best to wait six months after surgery until the shape of your breasts has stabilized. Breast augmentation surgery generally does not affect the ability to breastfeed.
