When a woman finds abnormalities in her menstruation, the doctor usually recommends that she take a test of six reproductive hormones. However, after the test results are out, if the doctor is not allowed to explain, she will not be able to understand at all whether the values on the test report are normal or abnormal. So, what are the actual values of the six reproductive hormones? 1. Standard values of six reproductive hormones 1. Progesterone test: The test standard values are different at different stages. If tested in the early ovulation period, the standard value of this item is generally between 2~15mIU/ml. If tested during the ovulation period, 30~100mIU/ml is considered normal. After ovulation, this standard value will change again, and the standard value is 4~10MmIU/ml. The standard value during the non-ovulation period is generally 5~25mIU/ml. 2. Follicle-stimulating hormone test: The standard value of this test is also related to the ovulation period. If the standard value is approximately between 1.5 and 10 MIU/ml during the ovulation period, the standard value of this test is approximately between 8 and 20 MIU/ml. If it is tested in the middle and late ovulation period, 2 to 10 MIU/ml is normal. Under normal circumstances, the test value of 5~40MIU/ml is considered within the normal range. 3. Prolactin test: If it is during the non-breastfeeding period, the standard value of prolactin is 0.08~0.92 nanogram molecules/liter. If this standard value is too high, it will inhibit ovulation and affect women's pregnancy. 4. Progesterone value test: If the progesterone value is 0-4nmol/L in the early ovulation period, it is considered as the standard value. In the middle and late ovulation period, the standard value is between 7.6-97.6nmol/L, which is considered as the normal range. If progesterone is too low and the corpus luteum is insufficient, it will affect the ovulation period. 5. Estradiol test: This test can check the condition of women's ovaries. Generally, the standard value range of the test in the early ovulation period is 48~521mol/L, and the standard value range of the test in the ovulation period is 70~1835mol/L. In the middle and late ovulation period, the standard value will decrease to a certain extent, and it is normal between 272~793mol/L. 6. Testosterone test for female hormone: If the testosterone level is too high, it will cause female infertility. The standard value range of this test is 0.7~3.1nmol/L. 2. Common problems with the six-item reproductive hormone test 1. Pay attention to the testing time: Generally, when doing the six-item sex hormone test, you can choose to go to the hospital for examination 3 to 5 days after the menstrual period is over. The test results will be more accurate at this time. 2. Check on an empty stomach: You can go to the hospital for a fasting blood test at 9 am. Be careful not to eat or drink to avoid affecting the test results. |
