What is the cause of the right adnexal cyst?

Adnexal cysts, also known as ovarian cysts, are a common ovarian disease in the female reproductive organs. Many people are very scared when they hear about cysts, worrying that it will affect their future fertility. Adnexal cysts are benign tumors, mainly caused by endocrine disorders, gynecological diseases, etc. If you want to improve adnexal cysts, you must start with your personal living habits and eating habits. So how to prevent them?

1. Endocrine disorders: The ovaries in the female reproductive organs are important organs that produce eggs and ovulate, secrete hormones, and balance the endocrine system. Ovarian cysts often occur during the reproductive age when the endocrine system is active. Therefore, the formation of ovarian cysts is related to endocrine disorders.

2. Gynecological inflammation: Fallopian tube inflammation often affects the ovaries, forming inflammatory fluid and pus, which in turn leads to ovarian cysts. Endometriosis can also affect the ovaries, forming cysts filled with chocolate-like, sticky fluid.

Generally, adnexal cyst refers to ovarian cyst, and right adnexal cyst refers to right ovarian cyst.

Ovarian cyst is a common benign tumor of the female reproductive organ, which is called "stone mass" or "intestinal mass" in traditional Chinese medicine. It is divided into mucinous cystadenoma, serous cystadenoma, benign teratoma, fibroma, testicular blastoma and other types. Most of them have the possibility of malignant transformation and are common in women aged 20-50 years old. Female friends who want to have children can use traditional Chinese medicine for conservative treatment.

Clinical classification

Ovarian cysts are clinically classified

(1) Qi stagnation and blood stasis type: manifested by a lump on one or both sides of the lower abdomen. Small lumps usually have no obvious symptoms, while large lumps may cause palpitations, shortness of breath, back pain, lower abdominal pain, constipation, frequent urination, and ecchymosis on the tongue.

(2) Cold-dampness and stasis type: There is a lump in the abdomen. Edema of the lower limbs, fluid accumulation in the abdomen and chest, and poor appetite.

(3) Qi stagnation transforming into heat type: severe abdominal pain, bloating and nausea, fever and chills, depression, weakness and fatigue, increased vaginal discharge with a thick and fishy texture. The common characteristics of various types are that ovarian cysts are mostly unilateral, with intact capsules, mobility, smooth surface, no ascites, cystic, smooth cyst walls, uniform morphology, slow progression, and a long course of disease. Traditional medicine treats it by warming the middle and dispelling cold, regulating qi and transforming water, invigorating qi and nourishing blood, softening hard masses and removing blood stasis, and most of them have good effects.

Treatment

Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that a person is a unified whole, and that local organ lesions are related to systemic qi and blood disorders and organ dysfunction. Therefore, the use of dialectical treatment methods, such as soothing the liver, tonifying the kidney, strengthening the spleen, invigorating qi, nourishing yin, and nourishing blood, can achieve the purpose of treating ovarian cysts.

Diet therapy

1. The diet should be light, and it is not suitable to eat mutton, shrimp, crab, eel, salted fish, black fish, etc.

2. Avoid spicy foods and drinks such as chili peppers, peppercorns, raw onions, raw garlic, and white wine.

3. Avoid eating foods that are hot, coagulant, or contain hormones, such as longan, red dates, donkey-hide gelatin, and royal jelly.

4. Eat more lean meat, chicken, eggs, quail eggs, grass carp, turtle, white fish, cabbage, asparagus, celery, spinach, cucumber, winter melon, mushrooms, tofu, fruits, etc.

Surgery

Mainly surgical resection. If the cyst is determined to be malignant, surgical treatment should be performed as soon as possible, and it should also be combined with radiation therapy and anti-cancer drug treatment. For advanced ovarian cancer, surgery should be performed to remove most of the tumor as much as possible, followed by chemotherapy. Some patients still have hope of cure; those who have been confirmed to have neoplasms should have surgery removed as soon as possible.

During surgical treatment, different patients may have their fallopian tubes, adnexa or even the entire uterus removed according to their condition; postoperative complications such as pain, ascites, intestinal or ureteral obstruction, infection, etc. are very likely to occur, which will have an adverse effect on the patient's postoperative recovery and mental health. Traditional surgical treatment requires an opening in the abdomen, which is large and harmful to the body. Recovery is slow and prone to infection. The disadvantages of surgical treatment cannot be ignored.
