What other tests are there after the four-dimensional

It is very hard for women to be pregnant for ten months. In order to make their hard work worthwhile, women must seriously do various prenatal examinations, and examinations at different stages must be carried out, because these prenatal examinations can detect whether the fetus is growing normally and what elements the fetus lacks during its growth. The four-dimensional examination is generally done between five and six months of pregnancy. So, what other examinations need to be done after the four-dimensional examination?

After the four-dimensional check, I was probably about 5 to 6 months pregnant. The next major examination items will be concentrated in the third trimester.

1. After checking the four dimensions, what should we check next ?

1. Sugar screening (24-28 weeks of pregnancy)

Sugar screening is gestational diabetes screening, which is mainly performed in the 6th to 7th month of pregnancy, that is, after the four-dimensional test. Gestational diabetes screening is also an important examination, so pregnant mothers should not ignore it.

2. Ordinary B-ultrasound (30-36 weeks of pregnancy)

After checking the four dimensions, a regular B-ultrasound will be required at around 8 months of pregnancy, mainly to assess the size of the fetus and the baby's position.

3. Fetal heart rate monitoring (from 34 weeks of pregnancy to before delivery)

Fetal heart rate monitoring is an indispensable examination item throughout the late pregnancy, which is mainly used to detect the baby's fetal heart rate and fetal movement frequency. After 34 weeks, fetal heart rate monitoring will be performed during almost every prenatal checkup.

4. Pelvic measurement (36 weeks of pregnancy ~ before delivery)

After the four-dimensional examination, the pregnant mother needs to undergo another examination until before delivery, namely pelvic measurement. This examination is one of the indicators to determine whether the pregnant mother can give birth naturally.

Second, after checking the four dimensions, what should we check next and how long should we check it?

After the four-dimensional examination, prenatal check-ups basically enter the late stage of pregnancy. The check-up time is approximately: every two weeks in the 8th and 9th months of pregnancy (29-36 weeks), and once a week in the 10th month of pregnancy (37-40 weeks).

In short, after the four-dimensional check, pregnant mothers still need to have regular prenatal check-ups. Once any abnormalities are found, they must follow the doctor's advice and actively cooperate.
