The standard weight of a girl 173cm tall

The standard weight of a girl 173cm tall

Every girl wants to have a healthy body and a slim figure, because it can make her overall image look better. If you want to know whether your weight meets the standard, in addition to using the appropriate calculation method based on your gender, you also need to know your height and weight. So, what is the weight standard for a girl who is 173cm tall? Let me introduce the calculation method to you below!

1. Calculation method 1:

Body mass index = weight (kg) ÷ height (m) squared kg/m^2

Formula: BMI = weight / (height)^2

Normal weight: BMI = 18.5 - 25 (Chinese physical fitness standard: normal range 18.5~23.9, overweight 24.0~27.9, obesity ≥28.0)

Overweight: BMI = 25 - 30

Mild obesity: BMI > 30

Moderate obesity: BMI > 35

Severe obesity: BMI > 40

2. Calculation method 2:

Standard weight = height (m) × height (m) × standard coefficient (20 for women, 22 for men)

Normal weight is within 10% of standard weight

If the standard weight is plus or minus 10%~20%, it is considered to be overweight or underweight.

A standard weight of plus or minus 20% is considered obese or underweight

3. Calculation method three:

Standard weight (kg) = height (cm) - 105

For example, for a man who is 170 cm tall, his standard weight should be: 170 (cm) - 105 = 65 (kg). Anyone who is 10% above the standard weight is considered overweight, and anyone who is more than 20% above the standard weight is considered obese; anyone who is 10% below the standard weight is considered underweight, and anyone who is more than 20% below the standard weight is considered underweight.

Note: The above calculation method is only applicable to adults. Not suitable for children, the elderly, or people who are too short.

4. WHO calculation method:

Male: (height cm - 80) × 70﹪ = standard weight

Female: (height cm - 70) x 60﹪ = standard weight

Normal weight is within 10% of standard weight

If the standard weight is plus or minus 10%~20%, it is considered overweight or underweight.

A standard weight of plus or minus 20% is considered obese or underweight

Overweight calculation formula

Overweight% = [(actual weight - ideal weight) / (ideal weight)] × 100%

5. Standard weight method

Standard weight (kg) = age x 8 + 8 (7 - 16 years old)

Mild obesity: 20% - 30% above standard weight

Moderate obesity: 30% - 50% above standard weight

Severe obesity: more than 50% above standard weight
