Woman with anal polyps

Woman with anal polyps

Polyps are often regarded as the precursors of tumors, but the meaning and name of the root polyps vary depending on their growth locations. For example, there is no difference between polyps growing in a woman's anus and hemorrhoids. In a sense, these polyps can be regarded as a type of hemorrhoids. Anal polyps can cause bleeding in the stool for both men and women. When the size of the polyps grows, they can also cause abdominal pain, anemia and other symptoms.

What do anal polyps look like?

Anal polyps, a type of hemorrhoids, are asymptomatic dormant hemorrhoids. The symptoms of bloody stools are mainly caused by rectal polyps. The amount of bloody stools caused by rectal polyps is generally not too much, but if the polyps fall off due to the effect of defecation, there will be a lot of bleeding. Long-term bloody stools can cause iron deficiency anemia in patients.

When the size of the polyp is relatively large, the effect of gravity will cause the polyp to gradually separate from the intestinal mucosa, and when the patient defecates, the polyp will fall out of the anus along with the feces. When defecating or the patient stretches, intestinal peristalsis is stimulated, which causes the tissue around the rectum to relax and induce rectal prolapse. When the polyp stretches, symptoms of intestinal irritation will appear, and the patient will experience abdominal pain, bloody stools, diarrhea and other symptoms. Because polyps can easily pull the intestinal mucosa when they prolapse, they can stimulate the normal peristalsis of the intestines and cause abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, etc.

Do anal polyps hurt?

1. Anal polyps are mainly a substance that occurs in the anal canal tissue and are generally oval in shape. It is a benign tumor. Hemorrhoids are mainly caused by varicose veins in patients. Patients with anal polyps may also experience blood in the stool. But generally there is no pain.

2. However, when patients have hemorrhoids and blood in the stool, they usually feel pain first, and then fresh blood will appear around the patient. In addition, patients with anal polyps often suffer from dehydration, and other symptoms may also appear, such as tasting themselves, abdominal pain and diarrhea.

3. For hemorrhoids, the most important clinical manifestation of patients is the appearance of blood in the stool, which usually occurs during or during defecation, and often occurs during constipation. Hemorrhoids are not accompanied by some common diarrhea symptoms and there is no bloody stool. This is different from anal polyps.
