(1) Cessation of menstruation

(2) Urogenital atrophy

What are the diagnostic criteria for menopause? The main manifestations are flattening of vaginal folds and atrophy and thinning of the vaginal epithelium. (3) Changes in secondary sexual characteristics

After the ovarian function declines, the breasts gradually atrophy and sag due to the loss of the accurate effects of estrogen and progesterone, while the skin also experiences a series of changes such as loss of skin elasticity and development of wrinkles due to the lack of estrogen.

(4) Changes in mental state

Women in menopause will also undergo a series of mental changes, mainly manifested as emotional instability, irritability and uncontrollable temper, but afterwards they will feel self-blame and regret, and at the same time they will also have many symptoms such as memory loss, depression, neurasthenia, etc.
