How to treat genital redness and swelling?

When female friends find that their vulva is red and swollen, most of them will feel scared and don't know how to solve the problem. In fact, the redness and swelling of the vulva is not a difficult problem to deal with. This situation is mostly caused by vaginal inflammation irritating the vulva. So what should you do when you feel that you have vaginal inflammation? The editor has summarized some tips on drug treatment for vaginal inflammation.

1. Vaginitis in young girls. Medication method: To treat vaginitis in young girls, you only need to use pepper water or Liuyi powder (containing talc and licorice) to flush the vagina and vulva, and you can get satisfactory results. To prevent problems before they happen, do not let girls wear open-crotch pants. Instead, wear loose, easy-to-remove closed-crotch pants. At the same time, educate girls to pay attention to hygiene, not to touch the vagina with hands or foreign objects, and clean the perineum of girls every night.

2. For vaginitis during menarche in teenage girls, the patient can clean the vaginal opening and vulva before going to bed, wipe them dry, and then use clean fingers to gently push the suppository into the vagina. It has a good anti-inflammatory effect and will not damage the hymen.

3. Senile vaginitis. Once you are diagnosed with senile vaginitis, you must seek early treatment. Delaying treatment may result in vaginal adhesions. Treatment usually involves topical washing with 1:5000 potassium permanganate and vaginal insertion of diethylstilbestrol tablets or suppositories. Estrogen can also be applied systemically, but treatment must be under the guidance of a doctor.

4. Vaginitis during pregnancy. Pregnant women should be particularly cautious when using medications to treat vaginitis. Depending on the different types of vaginitis, they can choose local treatment with topical medications in accordance with the doctor's instructions to prevent drugs from causing fetal malformations. Mold can infect the fetus in the birth canal and cause the newborn to suffer from a disease called thrush. Therefore, pregnant women must treat vaginitis thoroughly to prevent fungi in the birth canal from invading the fetus during delivery.

I believe that after reading the above knowledge, you should have a deeper understanding of the drug treatment of vaginitis. When encountering such a situation, you should follow the doctor's advice for treatment, especially pregnant women and the elderly. Do not easily believe in hearsay to treat gynecological diseases. This is irresponsible to your own body.
