Specific inflammation

Specific inflammation

When specific vaginitis occurs, the patient will not only feel vaginal itching and pain, but may also cause frequent urination and other phenomena. It is different from ordinary vaginitis. This type of vaginitis is not caused by Candida infection, but by bacteria such as Escherichia coli. If infected with specific vaginitis, the menstrual cycle will also be affected. So what should I do if I have specific vaginitis?

Specific vaginitis refers to vaginitis that is not caused by Candida albicans, Trichomonas vaginalis or gonorrhea, and is also called bacterial vaginitis. Common symptoms of bacterial vaginosis are increased vaginal discharge, which is purulent and serous. In severe cases, the discharge has a foul odor. Because the secretions irritate the urethral opening, it causes frequent urination, urgency, pain, a feeling of heaviness and burning in the vagina, accompanied by pelvic discomfort and general fatigue.

Causes of specific vaginitis

Experts believe that specific vaginitis is an inflammation of the vagina caused by Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Escherichia coli and Haemophilus vaginalis. Specific vaginitis often occurs when the vagina is damaged, there are pessaries or vaginal plugs in the vagina, foreign objects such as cotton balls left in the vagina, corrosive drugs, contraceptive devices or ointments are applied, irritating vaginal douching is used, or due to pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis, endometritis, increased uterine secretions due to miscarriage and childbirth, long-term uterine bleeding or vaginal surgical injury, which destroys the vagina's policy defense function and creates conditions for the growth and reproduction of pathogens.

harm

1. Vaginal infection caused by pathogens leading to infertility

Some vaginitis may be caused by infection with other pathogens. For example, ureaplasma urealyticum, Chlamydia trachomatis, Mycoplasma genitalium, etc. may cause vaginal infection. This infection will not only cause infertility, but it is also likely to cause fetal arrest, miscarriage, and stillbirth. Therefore, if you plan to get pregnant, you should conduct a careful examination to rule out the many factors that may lead to infertility.

2. Changes in the vaginal environment lead to infertility

The vagina is a receptor for sexual intercourse and semen. Under normal circumstances, the vagina has a relatively safe environment with a relatively constant acidity and alkalinity. When certain organic or functional diseases of the vulva and vagina occur, changes in the vaginal environment affect the function of normal sperm, leading to infertility. This environment, which is suitable for the temporary retention and passage of sperm, is very important. Once this environment is destroyed, infertility is likely to occur.

3. Vaginal bleeding leading to gynecological infertility

Vaginal bleeding is one of the most common symptoms of female reproductive diseases. The causes are multifaceted. In addition to normal menstruation, vaginal bleeding may occur when there is inflammation of the reproductive organs, pathological pregnancy, endocrine diseases, trauma, tumors, etc. Therefore, if a female friend experiences abnormal vaginal bleeding, she should go to the hospital for examination immediately to find out the cause of the bleeding to avoid causing serious gynecological diseases and leading to infertility.
