How many weeks is the first trimester

Ten months of pregnancy and one day of delivery have always been a concern of people. However, many expectant mothers have some questions in the early stages of pregnancy, such as not knowing how many weeks of their early pregnancy are. The early pregnancy is generally the first 4 months, which is also the dangerous period for pregnant women. 4 weeks is a month, and the symptoms of pregnancy in the early pregnancy can be calculated by using 4 weeks as a month. The symptoms are particularly obvious on the body, but this depends on personal constitution, and each person exhibits different symptoms.

How many weeks is early pregnancy

Early pregnancy for women refers to the early stages of pregnancy, which is the first three months of pregnancy. Every four weeks of pregnancy is one month. Generally, we consider the early pregnancy from successful conception to the twelfth week of pregnancy, also known as the early pregnancy, while the twelfth to twenty-eighth week of pregnancy is the middle pregnancy, and the twenty-ninth to fortyth week of pregnancy is the late pregnancy. These are the three stages of pregnancy.

What are the symptoms of early pregnancy

1. Menopause. Healthy women of childbearing age with a history of sexual activity and regular menstrual cycles should be suspected of pregnancy if their menstruation is delayed by 10 days or more. If menstruation has stopped for two months, pregnancy is more likely.

2Early pregnancy reactions. About 60% of women experience symptoms such as chills, dizziness, fatigue, drowsiness, drooling, loss of appetite, preference for sour food or aversion to greasy food, nausea, and vomiting in the morning about 6 weeks after menstruation. These symptoms are called early pregnancy reactions.

3. Frequent urination. Frequent urination usually occurs in early pregnancy. It is caused by the enlarged anteverted uterus pressing on the bladder in the pelvic cavity. When the uterus gradually enlarges and exceeds the pelvic cavity (about after 12 weeks of pregnancy), the symptoms of frequent urination disappear naturally.

4. Breast changes. The increased estrogen in the body promotes the development of mammary ducts and fat deposition, while progesterone promotes the development of mammary alveoli. Physical examination showed that the breasts gradually enlarged and there was breast pain. The color of the nipple and areola deepens, and dark brown nodules appear around the areola due to hyperplasia of the sebaceous glands.

5. Women with skin pigmentation will have dark brown nodules on their cheeks and forehead, called pregnancy spots, which are typically butterfly-shaped.

Therefore, we generally call the period from successful conception to the twelfth week of pregnancy early pregnancy or early pregnancy. During this period, most pregnant mothers will have more obvious pregnancy reactions, such as nausea and vomiting, fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness and weakness. However, there is no need to overdo it. These symptoms will be alleviated in the early stages of pregnancy.
