Menstruation is a physiological phenomenon that every female friend of childbearing age will experience. It may be caused by too frequent sexual life, or it may be caused by endocrine disorders and emotional changes. Therefore, we should relax and keep warm during menstruation.

Causes of scanty menstrual flow.

1. There are many factors that cause scanty menstruation, such as too frequent sexual intercourse, too many births, multiple abortions, medical abortions, curettage, etc., which damage kidney essence and vitality. Carefully inquire about the medical history and seriously examine and analyze the medical records, correctly diagnose and treat the disease, and prevent it from developing into amenorrhea.

2. When undergoing an endocrine hormone test, you must stop taking endocrine hormone drugs for 3 months, or at least 1 month. When analyzing the report, the date of the last menstrual period and the date of blood drawing should be asked clearly, and then the analysis should be carried out according to the menstrual period in which the blood was drawn and compared with the normal reference values ​​for that period.

3. Pay attention to oligomenorrhea caused by polycystic ovary syndrome or premature ovarian failure. If the effect of Chinese medicine treatment alone is not good, Chinese and Western medicine can be used simultaneously for treatment.

4. Patients with scanty menstruation and late menstruation should be differentiated from miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy and should not be neglected to avoid delaying the treatment.

Treatment

1. Menstruation will change with women's mood swings. If a woman is in a state of anxiety, boredom, or mood swings for a long time, it is easy to have menstrual cycle disorders and menstrual flow disorders. Therefore, we should learn to adjust ourselves, be more open-minded about everything, don't be too persistent or entangled, and deal with things with a calm mind. This will allow the body's endocrine system to stabilize and the menstrual flow will be more normal.

2. Generally, mothers or other elders will warn girls not to wash their hair during menstruation, saying that doing so will "force" the menstrual blood back into the body, causing a decrease in menstrual flow. This statement is not completely unreasonable. No matter how hot the water is when we wash our hair, we will feel a little cold at the moment when the hot steam evaporates. At this time, the body can easily catch cold starting from the head. If this accumulates over the years, it will have an impact on our uterus. We can wash our hair with warm water two days before menstruation, wipe it with a towel immediately after washing, and then blow dry it with a hair dryer, being careful not to be exposed to the wind. When your period is almost over, you can wash your hair with warm water again.

3. Do not eat cold foods such as crabs and bitter gourds, and do not drink cold drinks in the days before and during menstruation, so as to avoid menstrual blood accumulating in the uterus and being unable to be discharged smoothly. Keep warm and don't wear belly-revealing clothes. When the weather is cold, add more clothes in time, especially your feet, which are easy to catch cold. Don't always go barefoot without socks.
