What is brown-red discharge?

It is a normal physiological phenomenon for women to have secretions, but it is important to understand that normal secretions have no color and no odor. However, some women express the feeling of having brown-red secretions. What does this mean? On the one hand, we need to consider the problem of disease, and most of them are caused by inflammation, such as vaginitis, cervicitis, etc.; on the other hand, this situation may also occur if the vulva is infected by bacteria. Therefore, the specific problem needs to be confirmed after examination.

1. Disease treatment. In clinical practice, there are many diseases that cause brown-red leucorrhea in women. Common diseases such as senile vaginitis, cervicitis, cervical polyps, endometritis, cervical tuberculosis, gynecological tumors, etc. may cause this condition. In addition, some women may also have brown-red vaginal discharge due to the contraceptive ring in their body. Faced with these factors, women need to take the right medicine according to their own condition, so that leucorrhea can return to normal and the physical discomfort symptoms will gradually disappear.

2. Clean the vulva. After women start to secrete brown-red leucorrhea, they should pay attention to the hygiene of their vulva. In normal times, in addition to ensuring that the vulva is cleaned every day, it is also necessary to keep the vulva dry to prevent the growth of vulva bacteria, which will affect the treatment effect of the disease. If the patient has other problems with the vulva, special washes can be used to clean the vulva.

3. Diet adjustment. After blood appears in the leucorrhea, the patient can eat more offal, vegetables, fruits and some foods that strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness, which can play an auxiliary conditioning role. Common foods such as red dates, lentils, white radish, yam, winter melon, beef tripe, etc. are all spleen-strengthening and dampness-eliminating foods.

4. Regulate vaginal acidity and alkalinity. If a woman's vaginal environment is unhealthy, various pathogens may breed, causing gynecological diseases and leading to brown-red leucorrhea. In this case, the patient can try to use some medications or washes to adjust the acidity and alkalinity of the vagina. When the vagina is relieved and returns to normal, various abnormal symptoms will disappear.

Through the above four methods, the patient's brown-red leucorrhea will gradually disappear. If the patient can combine these methods, the brown-red vaginal discharge will be eliminated faster. It should be noted that if a woman suffers from a more serious disease such as gynecological tumor, she should take professional treatment measures and follow the doctor's advice to ensure that the disease can be cured.
