We often see some information saying that nipple pain is a sign of pregnancy, but in fact many pregnant women will experience breast pain in the early stages of pregnancy. This is in preparation for lactation, but not everyone's breast pain is necessarily caused by pregnancy. Many unmarried women experience breast pain, and it is necessary to consider the possibility of inflammation, infection, or fluid accumulation or lumps in the breasts, which causes pain. Generally speaking, if the breast pain is sudden, persistent, and more severe than some, and is accompanied by obvious tenderness, it is considered to be various acute infectious diseases of the breast; if there is local pulsating pain, it may be local suppuration. If the breast pain is paroxysmal, and often begins before menstruation or worsens before menstruation, it can be relieved or disappeared after menstruation. If the pain is distending or stabbing, sometimes involving the armpit or shoulder and back on the same side, and there is mild to moderate tenderness locally, it is considered to be a proliferative lesion. If your nipples are extremely painful, broken, or cracked during breastfeeding, it may be caused by the baby sucking and biting the nipples, resulting in nipple fissures. If the breast pain is only mild dull pain or aching pain, with no obvious regularity in the onset, and is only sporadic or paroxysmal, and some are persistent, it is often ignored because the pain is not obvious. It should be noted that such breast pain may also be a signal of early breast malignant disease and should be given sufficient attention. Sometimes, there is no obvious pain in the breast, but only pain in one armpit or shoulder and back, which may also be a malignant lesion. These subtle changes should not be easily ignored. If there is severe, persistent, burning pain in the breast that progressively worsens and is difficult to relieve on its own, and is accompanied by ulceration and necrosis of the local tumor or ulceration of the surgical wound and surrounding skin, it is breast pain in the late stage of malignant disease. At this time, because the symptoms and signs of other malignant diseases are already very clear, it is not difficult to find the cause of the pain. In addition, some women also experience breast pain when their breasts are swollen. This is a physiological condition and should be distinguished from breast pain caused by disease. In short, if you experience breast pain, don't panic, but also don't be careless and think that breast pain is no big deal and it will go away if you just bear up. Some women are shy and find it difficult to talk about breast pain and are too embarrassed to see a doctor, etc. These are all incorrect perceptions. You should pay attention to changes in your breasts, even if it is very mild breast pain, because breast pain may be a symptom of many breast diseases or even a sign of breast malignancy. |
