Unexplained infertility

Unexplained infertility

In our lives, there are many newlyweds who want to get pregnant quickly after marriage, but they find that they have tried for a long time but have no results. When they go to the hospital for examination, they find that their bodies are normal but they cannot get pregnant. This phenomenon is also called unexplained infertility, and they can't find the reason at all. So what should they do if they suffer from unexplained infertility?

Although new technologies in the medical field are developing rapidly, the causes and pathogenesis of certain diseases are still not fully explained, and unexplained infertility is one of them.

Patients with unexplained infertility account for 15% to 20% of all infertile patients. The reason why the cause is unknown is that the results of various routine or special examinations of such patients are within the normal range. The patients have normal ovulation, unobstructed fallopian tubes, normal endometrial development, and the husband's sperm count and motility are also within the normal range, but they cannot become pregnant. Therefore, such infertility is clinically classified as unexplained infertility. However, there must be various reasons for infertility, but the current infertility examination items still have defects and blind spots, and there are still many unknown causes of infertility that have not yet been discovered or some factors related to infertility cannot be widely used in clinical practice.

If you find infertility, you can start from the following aspects:

1. Immune factors: The female's serum or cervical mucus contains anti-sperm antibodies, which cause sperm to agglutinate and affect sperm motility.

2. Excessive retroversion of the uterus: Semen is often stored in the posterior fornix of the vagina and is not easy to enter the uterine cavity, and cannot combine with the egg.

3. Hidden abortion: Neither the miscarriage itself nor the doctor can detect it. Before she even found out she was pregnant, she had a miscarriage without realizing it.

4. Imperfect eggs: Ovulation occurs, but the eggs are defective and cannot conceive, or cannot develop into a normal fetus after conception.

5. Mental factors: high work pressure, mental tension, anxiety and depression.
