It is very common in medicine for women to bleed one month after confirming their pregnancy. There are generally many reasons for bleeding one month after pregnancy. It is necessary to check in time, observe the changes in the body more often, and pay attention to the development of the fetus.

Bleeding during pregnancy

Menstrual bleeding in early pregnancy is roughly the same as bleeding about one month after the last menstrual period. A small amount of bleeding may continue for 2 to 3 days, but this is a physiological phenomenon and there is no need to worry.

A woman's menstruation stops after pregnancy. Except for menstrual bleeding in the early stages of pregnancy (implantation bleeding) and "spotting" before delivery, there is generally no bleeding from the lower part of the body.

In addition, diseases not directly related to pregnancy, such as cervical polyps, vaginal erosion, or vaginal injury during sexual intercourse can also cause bleeding. In either case, if the bleeding is not severe, it will not affect the pregnancy. It is dangerous to rely on your own judgment when bleeding from the genitals.

If you suspect a pregnancy abnormality, please consult a doctor immediately. Since older pregnant women have a high miscarriage rate, special attention should be paid to bleeding.

Causes of bleeding during pregnancy

What is the reason for bleeding during pregnancy?

1. Overwork. If pregnant women are overworked or do heavy physical work in the early stages of pregnancy, the physical and psychological stress will be too great, which can easily cause vaginal bleeding.

2. Physiological bleeding. After women successfully conceive, some women will still experience a small amount of vaginal bleeding during their menstrual period. This is just a physiological reaction and does not require treatment.

3. Miscarriage. Before the placenta is fully developed, the embryo's implantation is not stable, and pregnant women are prone to miscarriage at this stage. When miscarriage occurs, the embryo will separate from the pregnant woman's uterine wall to varying degrees. When the blood vessels at the separation surface rupture, the uterus contracts, causing symptoms of vaginal bleeding in the pregnant woman.

4. Ectopic pregnancy. The walls of women's fallopian tubes are relatively thin. When the fertilized egg develops to a certain extent, the walls of the fallopian tubes swell and rupture, causing abnormal vaginal bleeding. This type of bleeding can easily cause fainting, shock or severe abdominal pain in pregnant women. If not treated in time, it may threaten the life of the pregnant woman.

5. Hydatidiform mole. Molar pregnancy abortion is characterized by small amounts of intermittent bleeding, and sometimes repeated heavy bleeding.

6. Uterine diseases. If a woman has uterine diseases, such as cervical polyps, cervical erosion, cervical lesions, etc., the changes in hormones after pregnancy may cause the capillaries on the surface to rupture, leading to vaginal bleeding.
