How to do gynecological hysteroscopy

In clinical medicine, gynecological hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive gynecological surgical examination. When patients undergo this examination, it can better help them understand their symptoms. For many women who have gynecological diseases, laparoscopy is more helpful in diagnosing the disease. In particular, in the process of diagnosing the disease, the mastery and discrimination of the examination methods are very important.

Gynecological hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive gynecological examination that can see uterine body changes on the screen within a smaller range, observe endocervical cysts, uterine polyps, bilateral fallopian tube ostia, uterine adhesions, abnormal endometrial hyperplasia, etc. For some patients with endometrial cancer, different blood vessels and cauliflower-like tissues can be seen under hysteroscopy, and the diagnosis can be made through puncture biopsy. For patients with uterine fibroids, the type of uterine fibroids should be identified; for patients with uterine intrauterine polyps, uterine intrauterine polyp removal should be performed; for patients with uterine malformations, they should be diagnosed.

Hysteroscopic surgery mainly focuses on the condition of the uterus and cervix. There will be some discomfort during the examination, but it is bearable. To check whether the fallopian tubes on both sides are unobstructed, it is necessary to perform angiography or intravenous drip. Patients are advised to go to the hospital for examination 3 to 7 days after the basic holiday. After hysteroscopy, pay attention to local hygiene, temporarily refrain from sexual intercourse and bathing, do not be too tired at work, and you can work normally. Hysteroscopy is a common color Doppler ultrasound examination, which shows that there are problems with the uterus, but some diseases cannot be diagnosed. This test needs to be performed within 3-7 days after the menstrual period ends. In addition, hysteroscopy cannot be used to confirm whether the fallopian tubes on both sides are unobstructed. It is necessary to check whether there is ice or contrast in the bilateral fallopian tubes.

There are many items in gynecological examinations, especially for women who are preparing to become pregnant, they should pay more attention to different examination methods and understand gynecological diseases. At present, gynecological examinations are targeted and meaningful, mainly including the shape, size, and location of the private parts, vagina, cervix, and uterus. Especially bilateral fallopian tube and uterus ovary examination is needed to understand the symptoms. If necessary, examinations should be conducted for a period of time every year to understand the patient's condition.
