Will the breast hyperplasia lump move?

Will the breast hyperplasia lump move?

Many people do not care about their breasts. Some people ignore it even if they feel uncomfortable. In fact, this lump may be breast hyperplasia, which can easily lead to breast cancer. Breast cancer patients all feel a lump in their breast at the beginning but do not pay attention to it. In the end, the tumor slowly turns from a benign tumor to a malignant tumor and reaches the point where it cannot be cured. So will the breast hyperplasia lump move?

Another reason why the early detection rate of breast cancer is low is its high misdiagnosis rate. Clinically, the symptoms of breast hyperplasia and breast fibroids are similar to those of breast cancer, so many female friends only regard them as minor illnesses when they have symptoms and do not consider them as tumors, thus missing the best time for treatment.

Therefore, clearly understanding the differences between the three is an important step in preventing breast cancer.

Breast hyperplasia: Breast hyperplasia is the most common breast disease in women. Its typical symptom is breast lumps, which are mainly single and hard in texture, without obvious premenstrual breast pain.

Breast fibroadenoma: This breast disease mostly occurs in women aged 20-30 years old. Its main characteristics are unilateral, round, clear borders, high mobility, and no relationship with the menstrual cycle.

Breast cancer: The high-risk age for breast cancer is 45-55 years old. The lump is hard, mostly unilateral, round in shape, and has poor mobility. The lump will gradually increase in size as the disease progresses and has nothing to do with menstrual changes.

In fact, it is difficult to tell the difference between the three based on the characteristics of the lump. Therefore, it is necessary to combine other symptoms of breast cancer to make a judgment.

Five typical symptoms of breast cancer

1. Breast lumps: The lumps are hard, mostly unilateral, round in shape, and have poor mobility. The lumps will gradually increase in size as the disease progresses and have nothing to do with menstrual changes.

2. Dimpled skin: "Dimples" will appear on the breast skin. This is because the ligaments between the pectoral muscle fascia are shortened due to the interference of the tumor, thereby involving the skin in the corresponding area and causing small depressions.

3. Nipple discharge: Among clinically diagnosed cases, 50% of patients have nipple discharge caused by tumors.

4. Abnormalities of the nipple and areola: abnormal phenomena such as nipple retraction and erosion occur.
