Squamous cell tumor of the cervix

Squamous cell tumor of the cervix

Everyone is very familiar with cervical cancer, but is relatively unfamiliar with cervical squamous cell carcinoma. Cervical cancer is a general term for tumors in the female cervix, including cervical squamous cell carcinoma, which is more common in menopausal women. However, in recent years, there has been a trend of gradually younger age, and many young women have unfortunately suffered from cervical squamous cell carcinoma. There are several types of cervical squamous cell carcinoma in medicine, including exogenous, internal, ulcerative and endocervical, and more obvious symptoms will appear after the onset of the disease.

The most typical one is non-menstrual vaginal bleeding in women, especially in menopausal women. Suddenly, inexplicable vaginal bleeding may be caused by cervical squamous cell carcinoma. Generally, contact bleeding occurs after intercourse or during gynecological examination.

After the onset of cervical squamous cell carcinoma, most patients will continue to have increased female secretions, which is very easy to be ignored. In addition, patients may also experience symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, inability to hold urine, and pain and swelling in the lower limbs.

In general, cervical squamous cell carcinoma is a branch of cervical cancer, and it is also a malignant tumor that occurs in the female cervix. Female friends need to see a doctor immediately after experiencing relevant symptoms.

When a woman is diagnosed with cervical squamous cell carcinoma, she will feel fear and sadness, and she will be confused and don't know how she got squamous cell carcinoma.

1. Nowadays, medicine has reached a conclusion on the cause of cervical squamous cell carcinoma. Most of them are caused by HPV virus infection. The vaccine to prevent cervical cancer developed in recent years is targeted at this type of virus infection.

2. If a woman suffers from cervical disease, if she does not receive timely and complete treatment, she is likely to develop chronic diseases, such as cervicitis, cervical erosion, etc., which makes it easy to be infected by viruses and may cause lesions over time.

3. If women start having sex too early when their body growth and development are not fully complete, it will not only affect their body growth and development, but also increase the probability of urinary system cancer. In addition, women with disordered and unclean marital life are many times more likely to develop cervical squamous cell carcinoma than women who respect themselves.

The mortality rate of cervical squamous cell carcinoma is still relatively high, so it is necessary for everyone to take some preventive measures after understanding the cause of the disease.

Is cervical squamous cell carcinoma infected?

Cervical squamous cell carcinoma, as a serious malignant tumor, is very frightening. Patients also want to know whether this type of disease is contagious and whether it can be transmitted to their relatives.

1. Cervical squamous cell carcinoma is a malignant tumor disease caused by mutations in the patient's own organs and tissues. It is not contagious. There is currently no direct evidence to prove that cervical squamous cell carcinoma is contagious, so patients do not need to worry about infecting their relatives with the tumor.

2. Although cervical squamous cell carcinoma itself is not contagious, the HPV virus that can cause cancer is contagious, and it is mainly spread through sexual intercourse. Regardless of who is infected with the HPV virus, the virus can be transmitted to the other party through sexual intercourse.

3. If a man has sex with a woman with cervical squamous cell carcinoma, he is likely to be infected with the HPV virus. Although it is generally not likely to cause uncomfortable symptoms, it will increase the probability of male reproductive organ lesions.

Cervical squamous cell carcinoma is not contagious as a cancer, but the HPV virus that causes cancer can be transmitted to direct relatives through sexual intercourse, thereby increasing the possibility of men getting cancer.
